- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The Title and the content differ quite a lot :(
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is so good, I bought two more for friends who saw it and were instantly hooked. I just exited a three year relationship with someone I moved across the country with a year and a half ago. The codependency and guilt was/is real. But with each chapter, I feel myself getting back to interdependence
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5So many of these stories resonated so strongly with me. This has been one of the most helpful non-self help books I have read. I would highly recommend this to anyone with relationship struggles. Thank you for composing the workpiece.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5There is a powerful message in this book that can help you get rid of emotional baggage, heal your personal relationships, be more mindful, and help you become a stronger person. The book touches on a lot of hidden issues that you may not even realize you have. Definitely worth a read!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Enneagram is about discovering your disposition personality type. It is similar to the Myers-Briggs, and yet different. The difference is that the Myers-Briggs is more about development through life that led you to your four quadrants and what percentage you are in each and the Enneagram is something you are born with (the soul of who you are). Now the book opens up that understanding, however, I recommend learning even more about it even after you finish the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I would definitely feel comfortable in recommending this book. Especially if you have a growing suspicion that you might be in a codependent relationship, or if you recognize patterns in yourself that are most likely fueled, not by love, but by codependent tendencies.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5In this book the author successfully manages to take complex and multifaceted concepts, such as codependency, and break them down and distill them into a more easily digestible and manageable chunk of information. He does this without losing the depth needed in order to fully come to grips with the phenomena.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I like how the book gives strategies to leave a narcissistic relationship safely and also how to assertive one's self, most discussions about this topic generally just discuss the woman fleeing. I recommend this book for anyone that has dealt or is currently dealing with a narcissistic relationship.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book has opened my eyes to something I always wondered about: codependency. And I can see that I suffer from many of the symptoms.
