About this audiobook
A codependent relationship is a relationship in which one of the partners suffers from addiction(drugs, alcohol, gambling, etc.), and the other partner is “addicted” to helping him out.
In this dangerous situation, a relationship is formed between an addicted to addicted - and the results can be harmful.
Does any of these sound familiar to you?:
- Do you make big sacrifices that hurt your quality of life in order to avoid conflict?
- Do you experience frustration and anger when you’re trying to manage the situation?
- Do you “daydream” about the moment your partner will transform her behavior?
- Is the behavior of your partner(or relative) causing you to avoid social gatherings at your house? Do you feel lonely because of that?
- Do you feel ashamed to share what you feel with your friends and family?
If you’ve answered ‘Yes’ to at least one question - then this book is EXACTLY for you.
Here are just a few of the topics covered in the book:
- How codependence is a threat to your happiness
- How to identify which type of relationship you’re in
- The innocent behavior you may have adopted in childhood that caused you to become a codependent adult
- How to free yourself from guilt and self-judgment
- The power of self-talk and positive thinking
- And much, much more!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was written from the point of view of an intimate relationship between a narcissist and a co-dependent, although it can also be helpful for other kinds of relationships with a narcissist too.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The book helped me understand what codependent means, and that I am not codependent. It has helped me understand the point of view of some friends, who might be codependent. I think it is essential reading for counsellors, police officers, psychologists, and just anyone who deals with people!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I found this book extremely interesting and essential for understanding a certain type of person- a codependent. After reading this book I watched a documentary about prostitutes and their pimps, and I could recognise the dynamic between a codependent and narcissist.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5If you are struggling with confusion and need an understanding of why you just can't let go, then please buy this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was very informative and answered all my questions. The writer captivates me from his own experience and had excellent insight and truth. I am a narcissists codependent. I was. I am borderline PD. I have repeated these relationships my entire life, beginning with my mother. I still miss him but it was unhealthy and extremely toxic, as my sexual boundaries were being violated to the point that I blew a fuse. I'm now reading Betrayal Bond, then Psychopath Free continuing my insights and progress
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is a good starting place, as the author not only tells you your worst fears are true, but you as the codependent need the narc to feel real just as much as the narc needs your fuel. Will you stop dancing? A Must read for anyone who is beginning to awake or has been recovering since awakening!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The author, in typical narcissistic fashion, has mistaken his false self as being evidence of his superiority and general awesomeness. He does not seem to grasp that the construction of a false self is a very unfortunate coping mechanism, probably in response to some childhood trauma, that renders one a narcissist.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5it is fascinating to read about relationships from the perspective of a self-identified narcissist. The author, in typical narcissistic fashion, has mistaken his false self as being evidence of his superiority and general awesomeness.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book provides further knowledge, understanding and awareness for victims of narcissists who really want to realize what is going on and want to rebuild their lives
