The last five chapters were the best. Definitely a surprise ending. Abbey’s stupid decisions annoyed me on multiple occasions throughout the book but still an enjoyable leisure time read. The author has a good imagination. Just wish her characters were a little smarter. But then, you probably wouldn’t have the story and I did enjoy the plot.

I enjoyed the first part of the book although I found it very predictable. One thing i couldn't get passed at the end was that her husband wasn't cheating. I found his behaviour very odd overall, like not believing his wife when she was accused of doing drugs, when he found the drugs, not defending her when she was accused of murder etc. Also not worrying enough to go look for her when she jumped off the car. But we never got an explanation of what was the "plan" they were talking about when texting, not to mention the step mom mentioned they were having an affair. By the end of the book I wasn't rooting for Abbie to stay with him, I think the author failed in clearing up the doubts of him being a good husband
