About this audiobook
Eve has a good life. She wakes up each day, kisses her husband Nate, and heads off to teach math at the local high school. All is as it should be. Except…
Last year, Caseham High was rocked by a scandal involving a student-teacher affair, with one student, Addie, at its center. But Eve knows there is far more to these ugly rumors than meets the eye.
Addie can’t be trusted. She lies. She hurts people. She destroys lives. At least, that’s what everyone says.
But nobody knows the real Addie. Nobody knows the secrets that could destroy her. And Addie will do anything to keep it quiet…
From the New York Times bestselling author Freida McFadden comes a chilling story of twisted secrets and long-awaited revenge.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Last plottwist was unexpected. And made it mae me give 3 stars for that. The rest was not that great.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5At times uncomfortable, I absolutely LOVE that I did not predict that ending!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This audiobook has a terrible narrator and a plot that is mostly predictable with implausible “twists”. How is it possible for a 30-year old teacher to have weekly sex with a “married” shoe store clerk without realizing that he is actually a 16-year old student athlete at the same school she teaches? I’m avoiding this writer!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5It's very unfortunate how way too predictable this book was.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely loved this book the plot twist literally made my jaw drop! One I will recommend to everyone!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This read like a playbook for how to groom young kids. I felt uncomfortable reading it and then spent most of it rolling my eyes. Also, the narrator has a very strong Midwest accent and this book is set in Massachusetts.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Let me save you several hours. Do not take the time to read this book. Definitely do not listen to this book. This has to be the worst reading of a book I have ever listened to. I kept thinking this has got to get better. It never did. The voice used to read Addie was horrendous. I could go on but I am stopping which is what I should have done in the first few of this book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Quick, easy read. Grabbed my attention from the beginning! A few great twists
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Story line was good but didn’t care for the writing style. Didn’t care for narrator in audiobook.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazingggggg would read this a million times if I could
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fun thriller. Enjoyed didn't want to stop listening
Great book - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5TW— grooming & very explicit sexual language. Was very hard to read at times, but I’m glad I kept going. Scarring!!!!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very good book. Twist at the end, didn’t see it coming! Fantastic, recommend for everyone!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Gasps and eye rolls and a real hoot!
This really kept my interest the whole way theough although I did have to suspend my disbelief a couple of times, and cringed a bit at the adolescent angst. But great payoff! Highly recommend! - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The narrator ruined the entire thing. I couldn’t listen anymore. Her male voices were so weird. Ugh. So so so so so bad.
The sex scene in the short store stockroom was really bad.
I usually like this author.
Not this time.
So so so so bad bad bad bad. Really. Bad. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The twist at the end, all the way to the end !!!! Love it ,
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Frida McFadden always write great books with twist after twist and after twist. Pay close attention to the end!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The way this author spins a tale keeps me in suspense and intrigue from beginning to finish.
You’ve become my number one, go to suspense author when suspense is what I’m looking for. Keep em coming.
So good - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Wow. Probably one of the worst books I have had the displeasure of reading. Repetitive descriptions and cliches and a plot that just never gets going. Makes me lose faith in the entire editing and publishing system.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Super captivating! I loved the revenge twist! The narrators did a wonderful job! I highly recommend a listen!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Book itself was great…in a disturbing kind of way!!! The voice of reader in audio version missed the mark drastically. Way overacted at most parts, put inflection and emphasis on the wrong parts of sentences/sections, and killed the vibe. However, book itself was really good.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book!!!!! I was surprised in ways that I didn't expect. I found myself looking forward to listening each day.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very entertaining, but I thought there was a hole in the plot at the end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of better ones. I enjoyed all of her stories but usually they are predictable but I couldn’t predict this one and was shocked at the end..
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I’ve loved it so far but the voice of Addy is like nails on a chalkboard!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The ending actually got me. I def recommend this one.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I didn’t see that twist at the end coming, was really good and kept my interest but why are there so many shoes! And who is the person in the beginning of the book talking about how they had help the first time they buried someone? I’m so confused on that part and how it fits into this book.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Loved the twists but it was a little underwhelming, and some parts were predictable
