Her brother was very childish and irresponsible. I mean, come on, who post stuff that leads killers to them. However, despite that detail, I truly enjoyed this book and can wait for the next book in the series.

It was a good quick story, better than I expected from reviews I've seen. I was going to give it 3 stars until I heard the very end.... to find out it's based on true events that happened to the author and her husband was crazy! So I bumped it up to 4 stars. The story seemed a little far-fetched at times, and the brother was pretty annoying, but I laughed out loud multiple times! I totally thought the neighbor was involved and loved the twist around it. The audiobook was fun to listen to.

I was fascinated by some excellent audiobooks on my list, but this one took audiobook expectations to a completely different level! This audiobook was so alive! The voices, the sound effects, different noises! Seriously, I can't express how good it was! I will definitely return to this audiobook time time time just to enjoy this experience again!

Now about the book! So I randomly saw the advert that this book is out and I didn't manage to read reviews or descriptions. I just had this intuition that I needed it. I was over the moon that Everland had a copy (I am paying a membership fee there no it's legal!) so I dived straight in! And YES! This book is YES!

Often I read reviews after I finish the book (I just like to make my own mind up) and in this case, I expected there would be an outstanding 5-star rating on Goodreads... but it wasn't and I have the question - did we experience the same book!? Usually, I listen to audiobooks at 2x speed but already in the first part I turned down on 1.8x, and by the third part I put on 1.5x as I just wanted to extend this experience as long as possible (sorry I just can't do 1x, it's way too slow for me).
How it's possible not to love this? This book was so fun that I laughed out loud half of the book! It was so entertaining and good that the characters just grew on me in a way that I didn't want to let them go! I am hoping that Chase, Nadiya, and Viktor will return in other books as I am ready for the series!

Quick summary: Nadiya (best-selling author) and Chase (hoping to be famous TicTocker) are half-siblings who recently found each other and still learning about each other. One day, after hearing suspicious activity they discover a crime scene in a neighbor's flat and report this to the police. You would think this is all you need to do if you are Nadiya but if you are Chase you are happy to share every detail on TicTok... and this is how you get in trouble! Going viral has never been so dangerous...

Even so, this is more like comedy, it's full of unexpected twists and turns and some heartbreaking moments, secrets, betrail, and hope! As I mentioned before I am hoping there will be more of them three as they are just the perfect trio! You are wondering who is the third. It's Viktor! Who is Viktor? this you will find in the book!

If you are a fan of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston's Murder Mystery films - this book is absolutely your cup of tea!

And yes, I made up a 6-star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+⭐ rating for the books I absolutely love! Usually, I know will re-read or re-listen them books in the future, and #CrimeTime goes straight on that shelf! IT’S #CRIMETIME, BABY!
