Description
Today we are sitting down with multi passionate entrepreneur and founder of the Little Wonders Family Program Jen Draper. We talk about battling imposter syndrome, the impact her childhood trauma had on her mental health and anxiety, and how she turned not having a place to feel safe into a beautiful Non Profit program that connects families together in community and support.
Jen shares vulnerably with us about being removed from her childhood home due to her mother’s addictions and lifestyle, her near death experience as a toddler, growing up very quickly at a young age, and the catalyst that led her to start therapy in her 20’s and dig deep into the buried memories she dissociated from as a young child. We talk about healing generational trauma, finding the right therapist, the tools she uses to manage her anxiety and mental health and how she is being who she needed when she was younger NOW.
Jen shares with us her WHY behind creating the Little Wonders Family Program, the process and journey of building a Non Profit, the hurdles that came up and the community that she found along the way. We talk about the impact working with the Little Wonders Families has on her, how the Little Wonders moms inspired her to create the Heart's Desire Gala, and how she learned that the smallest things are truly the BIGGEST.
