Rebecca has a wealth of experience working with women and their psychological needs and is the founder of Make Birth Better, a national campaign working to raise awareness of birth trauma.
We discuss why it is imperative that awareness is raised, explain what it is and why around 1 in 3 are affected. Birth should be one of the most empowering and momentous experiences in a new parent’s life and yet for many there is a trauma that overshadows their birth.
We discuss signs to look out for and how we can try to prevent birth trauma occurring. Rebecca explains how no one should be suffering in silence and that support is available in a wide variety of forms. @drrebeccamoore
