Description
"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit," (Titus 3:4-5)Goodness, loving-kindness, Savior, mercy, washing, regeneration, renewal: there is so much of God's character in these verses. And on top of that, we see all three persons of the Trinity here, Father, Son, and Spirit. The Father sent the Son to save us and sent the Spirit to bring us new life and continue His work in us. It was all set in motion by the Father's very good plan and what He initiates, He will sustain and He will fulfill. He always finishes what He starts so take heart Christian, He hasn't given up on you. He's with you and He's where the joy is!
