In this episode, I’m coming right out with it ( keep the little ears away) I’m dropping the F-bombs AND truth bombs about all of this eat less, move more BS, and why it is fucking with us on so many levels.    It's not as simple as "eat less + move more"   If that were the case, EVERYONE would be at their “ideal weight”    If you feel like you keep failing at your diets, it’s not a lack of willpower or self-control…it’s the damn diets!!   Your body is SO much smarter than these diets but we keep confusing it with eating less and less. Our body can’t make sense metabolically of shrinking our body and is fighting us from maintaining a reduced energy intake. ( low calorie…calories= energy)    Feeling HANGRY when dieting is your brain letting you know that it needs food, and appropriate amounts of it, in order to keep doing all the really amazing things you want to do every day.   Your body is smart and knows what's best but it cannot function optimally if you keep restricting!   I’m giving you 5 REASONS WHY this eating less is fucking with you and your results:   YOUR BODY COMPENSATES BY SLOWING DOWN YOUR METABOLISM: YOUR HUNGER HORMONE (GHRELIN) INCREASES YOUR FULLNESS HORMONE ( LEPTIN) DECREASES   YOUR BODY FIGHTS TO MAINTAIN MUSCLE   IT’S A NEVER ENDING BATTLE WITH YOUR BODY   This is a vicious cycle and I was VERY stuck on it. SO many of my clients come to me who have been on this rollercoaster for years. They diet, hit a plateau and then need to find another diet that will have them eating less and less in order to see any results. We need to realize what we are doing to ourselves and our health by constantly jumping on another diet or exercising “just a bit more” every time our weight loss slows down.   We are all created different and these quick fix diets do NOT account for that.
