Introduction
Welcome to these guided sessions, aiming to relax your body and mind, and prepare you to fall asleep.
Make yourself as comfortable as you can and let these words wash over you in a relaxed way… you don’t need to pay attention to them actively… simply let them gently come and be heard...
One. Deep Sleep Body Scan
Welcome to this guided meditation for a deep sleep body scan.
May you close your eyes gently, welcoming the stillness that comes with it.
Take a moment to shift into a position where your body feels truly comfortable. Whether you're nestled in your bed, resting on a soft couch, or lying on the floor, ensure that every part of you feels supported.
In our time together tonight, we will embark on a gentle journey — one that will help your mind to calm, your body to relax, and your soul to be at peace.
Bring your attention to your breath. Without altering its natural rhythm, simply become an observer. Feel the cool air enter through your nose or mouth as you inhale, and notice the gentle warmth as you exhale. Each breath you draw in is life, nourishment, and peace, and every exhale is a release of the day's stresses, worries, and fatigue.
Visualise your breath as a gentle wave on the shore — it comes in, touching the sands of your consciousness, and then it goes out, taking away with it any remnants of tension.
Breathe in calmness, breathe out tension.
Breathe in peace, breathe out worries. Feel the soothing pattern it creates, like a lullaby for your soul.
Imagine now that with every breath you take, a soft, peaceful energy blankets you. It starts at the crown of your head, making it feel light and free. This energy is pure relaxation, and its sole purpose is to bring tranquility to every corner of your being.
As it descends, your forehead smoothens, your eyelids feel heavy, and the tiny muscles around your eyes let go. Your jaw unclenches, and a gentle space forms between your upper and lower teeth.
This is your time. Time to find solace in the stillness, to embrace the comforting cloak of night, and to prepare your body and mind for the profound rest it deserves. Remember, you are in control of this moment, and you can choose peace, comfort, and relaxation. Embrace it.
Begin by anchoring your awareness at the crown of your head. Picture a soft, luminescent
