- 2 slices of bacon
COOKING TOOLS

- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Tongs or spatula
- Plate or serving dish
STEPS
1. Preheat the skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
2. Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water.
3. Place the Brussels sprouts on the cutting board and use the sharp knife to trim off the stem end.
4. Cut each Brussels sprout in half from top to bottom.
5. Slice the bacon into small pieces.
6. Add the bacon to the heated skillet or frying pan and cook until crispy, stirring occasionally.
7. Use the tongs or spatula to remove the cooked bacon from the pan and set it aside on a plate or serving dish.
8. Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet or frying pan, cut side down.
9. Cook the Brussels sprouts until they are golden brown and slightly charred, approximately 4-5 minutes.
10. Flip each Brussels sprout half over using the tongs or spatula.
11. Continue cooking the Brussels sprouts for another 4-5 minutes, or until they are tender but still slightly firm.
12. Transfer the cooked Brussels sprouts to the plate or serving dish with the cooked bacon.
13. Toss the Brussels sprouts with the bacon to combine.
14. Serve the Pan-Seared Brussels Sprouts with Bacon immediately.

- 8-10 Brussels sprouts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Knife for cutting Brussels sprouts
- Cutting board
- Bowl for mixing
- Oven or toaster oven for roasting Brussels sprouts
- Spoon for tossing with olive oil and garlic
- Salt and pepper shakers for seasoning
STEPS
1. Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Cut off the stems of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
3. Cut each Brussels sprout in half.
4. In a bowl, mix the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
5. Spread the Brussels sprouts evenly on a baking sheet.
6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven or toaster oven.
7. Roast the Brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes or until they are browned and crispy.

- Mixing bowl
- Measuring spoons
- Tongs or spatula for stirring
