    Why Consistency Matters

    Everything good in life takes time, think of your fitness journey as a butterfly, going through a process of transformation. Keep feeding and nourishing that fire inside you to become the fitter you. Without consistency there’s no point! You have to understand how the body works, the human body is completely adaptive. Having that in mind you’ve never worked out in your life, so when you finally do, it feels like hell! Heck you reach near death experience. But! Keep knocking on that door and what happens?

    Your muscles begin to break down, rebuilding and getting stronger to handle the demand of your workouts.

    It hurts but it is worth it, keep showing up and boom! Slowly it gets better. But you will never get to that point if you don’t push through the first stage. Consistency doesn’t ask you to be the strongest or fastest learner, you just need to show up and put in the effort. In doing so, over time you will be tested but if you can just stick with the progress, continue doing it each day you’re building those neurons that make it now a habit. You’re in routine and working out becomes a must, staying in shape is what you now know! Staying consistent over time helps to maintain a healthy weight, it also improves cardiovascular health, strengthens bones and muscles, and lowers the chance of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. You don’t get these benefits by going to the gym the first 3 days of the month and calling it quits when your muscles start to hurt.

    It is essential to have the mindset that fitness is a process rather than a goal that can be reached. Remember you’re a caterpillar going through the transformation into a butterfly, slow and steady. It is important that you enter each workout session with a mindset that’s open to the fact that this session is putting you a step further later on in your fitness journey, keep piling on those sessions and the future will show the results from previous months. It is a procedure that calls for undivided attention, persistent effort, and calm composure. Maintaining a steady routine is one of the essential components of becoming in shape. In its absence, forward movement is sluggish, and it is simple to lose one's bearings.

    Maintaining consistency in your fitness regimen requires going out on a regular basis, even when it's challenging. It involves making fitness a top priority and finding ways to include it in your regular routine in a natural way. When a lot of people hear consistency they just think about the workout aspect…..but maintaining consistency in your diet, drinking enough water, and getting enough sleep are also important aspects of maintaining consistency. To accomplish one's fitness objectives, each of these components is of critical importance. Together they are building blocks to your transformation, without one it all falls apart! Setting goals that can actually be achieved is another essential component of fitness. You should be consistently setting new goals to walk over, without goals then what’s the point?
