    Introduction

Congratulations and thank you for purchasing Ninja Foodi Grill Cookbook.

The chapters that follow will go over how much the Foodi Grill can help you in the kitchen. It’s fantastic for grilling, air crisping, baking, roasting, and dehydrating thanks to its five cooking functions.

These are just a few of its features.

Grill: You can grill your foods indoors while still getting char-grill marks and flavor.

Bake: Use the grill to make baked goods such as cookies and cakes.

Roast: Using the Ninja Foodi cooking pot, you can cook roasted vegetables, tender meats, and more on the grill.

Air Crisp: Make crunchy-crisp food with little or no oil.

Dehydrate (not included on all models): For healthier snack options, dehydrate fruits, meats, and vegetables. Before dehydrating meats, remove all fat because fat does not dry out and can cause it to spoil. Finish the jerky (meat and fish) with the roast function for one minute at 330° F/166° C. What You’ll Need for a Grill

The indoor grill comes with a plethora of accessories.

Your foods will have a char-grilled appearance thanks to the grill grate. It has a capacity of six fish fillets or burgers.

Air Fryer Crisper Basket: With a four-quart capacity, you can store two pounds of chicken or fries.

A six-quart Removable Cooking Pot can handle a three-pound roast!

When the grill is in use, a splatter shield must always be installed.

In addition, you have the following:

5 skewers for the kebab a cleaning brush

    Recipe book

    Getting Started Guide

The Ninja Foodi Grill package includes the majority of the aforementioned items. The Ninja cooking pot may need to be purchased separately.

    Cleaning the Ninja Foodi Grill

Begin by unplugging the Ninja unit from the power outlet.

Wipe down the center of the control panel with a clean, damp cloth.

Hand or dishwasher washing is recommended for the cooking pot, grill grate, crisper basket, splatter shield, and other accessories.

If food residue remains on the grill grate or crisper basket, soak them in a sink filled with warm, soapy water.

After cleaning, air or towel-dry all parts of the Ninja grill.

Making Use of the Ninja Foodi Grill

    Preheat the grill.

Start the Ninja® FoodiTM Grill by selecting the cooking function and setting the timer. Temperatures can also be adjusted on the display panel. The grill will begin to pre-heat once programmed. The unit will begin to pre-heat after you select your cooking function, temperature, and time. Higher temperatures can take up to eight minutes to reach temperature. This is an excellent time to put together ingredients, set the table, or finish cleaning up any dirty dishes.

You can grill at four different temperatures:

At a low temperature of 400° F/ 200° C, you can prepare sausage, bacon, meats with thick sauces, or calzones.

Medium Temperature @ 450° F/ 230° C: If you don’t have time to prepare dinner but have frozen meats, steak tips, and other similar items, they can be ready in time.

A high temperature of 500° F/ 260° C is ideal for steaks, burgers, chicken, and hot dogs, among other things.

The maximum temperature of 510° F/ 270° C is ideal for pizzas, vegetables, fruit, kebabs, and fresh and frozen seafood.

    Grilling Suggestions

The type of oil used in the grill is important because it produces less smoke. Instead of olive oil, the pros recommend using oils with a high smoke point, such as avocado, canola, coconut, vegetable, or grapeseed oil.

Because the Food Grill cooks quickly, use a food thermometer to check for doneness. Because the internal temperature of the food will continue to rise as it rests, removes it at 5° Fahrenheit before the target temperature is reached.

Avoid crowding the grill. To ensure consistent browning and even charring, arrange and space ingredients evenly in a single layer.

Tips for Batch Cooking: If batch cooking more than twice, empty the fat/oil from the bottom of the pot. Allow the unit to run for three minutes between batches to reheat the grill grate for the best results.

You’ve got the fundamentals, so let’s get started!
