    Now what? Shane Radway muttered as he stared at his surroundings.

    After being abducted by Amber – his so-called friend – and taken to Jupiter, Shane had wandered around the strange planet in a daze. He was surprised to find that Jupiter was a lot like Earth, with the exception of the solar system scenery, high-tech gadgets and the fact that everything looked metallic.

    Now I show you where I live, Amber answered, taking Shane by his arm and leading him towards a shiny but otherwise normal-looking bungalow.

    It’s nice, Shane commented, not sure what else to say.

    Don’t be silly, Amber said, knocking Shane with her hip.

    Amber’s playful knock caused Shane to lose his balance and land on a patch of cosmic green grass. He saw aliens looking at him as they walked by. However, they weren’t pointing and laughing like he thought they would be. Instead, they cast him a sympathetic look.

    Amber’s high pitch laugh rang throughout the street. You’re such a wimp, she said mockingly, before offering her hand to him.

    Ignoring her hand, Shane got onto his feet by himself. Even if he spent a hundred years trying to figure Amber out, he knew he’d never be successful. 

    To conceal the embarrassment of having her helpful gesture refused, Amber concentrated on opening the front door with the electricity from her antennas.
