About this ebook
This is my third book in a series of meditation books. Each book is about different aspects of meditation and how it relates to the individual person. It is simple to read and is a guide how to approach the process of meditation. Each book builds on the previous book. Each book contains a series of meditations for sitting, laying, standing and walking. It contains suggestions on how to incorporate different aspects like journaling and thought processes. Each meditation guides the person in a point by point process incorporating the physical body as a guide. Meditation is a journey and I have written these books as a simple guide to learn and enjoy the process.

Introduction
Relax and be happy. Simple enough but how do we do that? It was so simple a hundred years ago when our roles were set. The women stayed home, raised the children while the men were out working. Our day was set into morning, noon, and night. The women prepared the meals and as a family they all sat, relaxed and ended the day. This might be a simplified version of it but our roles were defined well into the 1900s.
How many of us still have a life like that? Our day now is a constant of achieving, working, electronic contact, running and frustration of not having enough time in the day to do everything we should be doing. It feels more like a merry-go-round at full speed and the brass ring has disappeared.
It seems like our roles have either disappeared or we are both the male and female without distinction. We are expected to do more with less, have more and appreciate less, be more and still not feel adequate enough. When does it stop?
There was a time when we took time to relax but now at this 110% world we can’t find the time for ourselves. Our employers expect us to balance our lives but give us so little time to achieve it. There is talk but there is no time left for it. Demands are placed on us giving us little time to be able to achieve them
We have become as society believers in the all mighty power of the prescription drugs to help, heal and numb us so we can sleep or function in life. Advertisers constantly barrage us with pills, vaccines and products to achieve a better lifestyle, heal quicker and be able to cope with the endless demands and we become drawn to it. We are led to believe that they have the answers for all our woes when we have lived far too fast and we’re left with nothing.
So how do we relax? We stop! We turn off and tune out. It can be a minute or if you are lucky days. We learn to draw back and be ourselves. They say life happens
and it does whether we choose to take part in it or not. There will always be stressful situations because it is part of living. If we can remain relaxed during these times then we can see, react and cope differently. We don’t stop living but rather than being mindless
we become mindful
.
Your body and mind won’t know what has happened and true to the training we have given ourselves, they will try to make us hectic again. So many thoughts of things undone will filter through your mind. What will they think of me? Will I fail if I don’t keep up? They
are not the judges YOU
are. The harshest judge you will ever have is yourself. Relax and be happy.
Make a date with yourself. There are such great side-effects and the best one is that you will feel better. The natural process of the body is that it heals itself when it is relaxed. Better health is imminent. You’ll be more in touch with yourself. Imagine that. You’ll be able to sleep better. You won’t have to read the morning horoscope to know how you feel and what your day will be like!! Smiles will be numerous. Everybody will want to know what you are doing differently. You will be more affluent in how you feel and how rich your life can be.
In this book we learn to relax the body. There is a beautiful connection between the physical and mental bodies when one relaxes so does the other. This book is a continuation of my first book about the physical body. I have taken the meditations and expanded on them. If you have problems doing the meditations, refer to the simpler ones in the first book.
It is much simpler than you can imagine relaxing and taking time for yourself. There is a peace within when you learn not to hold on to what isn’t necessary to live your life. Your life will be enriched and you will feel more at peace.
This book is about giving you the tools to help you. Remember not to judge or lessen your worth because you deserve to live your life to the fullest. You are the one you should work on and then others will see you clearer because your inner light will shine brighter.
Go through the meditations in sequence and adapt them to your lifestyle. Remember these are tools to use, so learn, adapt, and use them frequently till they become part of you. Then begin again because
