About this audiobook

A notorious stretch of highway is rife with serial killers, unsolved murders and missing-persons cases. The FBI, knowing it must crack this Bermuda Triangle of death, assigns its most brilliant mind—and flawed agent—Rylie Wolf, to dive headfirst into this road of danger. Rylie must tap her brilliant instincts to decode these cases and enter the twisted mind of killers—while battling demons from her own dark past.

In FOUND YOU (A Rylie Wolf FBI Suspense Thriller—Book One), FBI Agent Rylie Wolf isn’t afraid to speak her mind. But when her headstrong tendencies land her in hot water, she finds herself assigned to a new location: a dangerous stretch of highway, spanning several states, known for unsolved murders and missing-persons cases. Rylie, still haunted by a near miss with a murderer during her childhood, knows this area all too well. It was one she hoped never to return to.

Victims are found strung to mile markers along the highway, an eerie trademark of a serial killer.

Rylie and her new partner must track down the killer, but the pattern of murders is baffling. With the FBI breathing down her neck, time is running out, and as the pressure ramps up, Rylie finds herself in the middle of a cat-and-mouse game with a killer more deranged than she could have ever imagined.

Can Rylie stop the murderer before he kills again?

Or will she herself be the next victim?

A complex psychological crime thriller full of twists and turns and packed with heart-pounding suspense, the RYLIE WOLF mystery series will make you fall in love with a brilliant new female protagonist and keep you turning pages late into the night. It is a perfect addition for fans of Robert Dugoni, Rachel Caine, Melinda Leigh or Mary Burton.

Books #2 and #3 in the series—CAUGHT YOU and SEE YOU—are now also available.

Story is decent but I don’t really like the characters. The narrator isn’t great either. She starts out with a weird ?Australian? accent and then the characters just start sounding the same. Also had several random silent spots. Like the audio stopped 3/4 through a chapter and then started again at the start of the next chapter.

The narrator is incredibly obnoxious and the voices of the different characters is horrible.
Storyline is meh and the writing/dialogue is very cheesy and annoying.
Could of been a decent book.

Story was ok, narrator was odd. She started out with a British English accent (for a story that takes place in Montana/Wyoming area) then she would change to TX southern, then maybe an Atlanta southern, then back to British. Very distracting…

I really don’t care for the narrator. Too much of an English accent which I’ve found in some of the other books. These stories are supposedly taking place in the USA.
Some of the women FBI agents in this book and others are a little hard to take. I like strong women but why are they so bitchy & mean? I’m going to listen to the other books & see if I change my mind.

The story is fine. There are a ton of inconsistencies in areas where I really think the editor could’ve done a better job tying it all together. The narrator is horrible, half of her characters sound like cartoon characters. Difficult to listen to, but the story actually is pretty good so I stuck it out.

I’m sorry…I can’t get past the narrator. Who thought an Aussie would make a good narrator for a character born in Wyoming and grew up in Montana?! It’s completely incongruous. Even if I could get past the accent the speaking cadence is absolutely grating at times.

I like the character and story but it’s going to be a series I read not listen to.

The narration was so terrible that I almost missed how poorly written the book was.

Very poor writing. It would be a reach to elevate the character to 2 dimensional. So formulaic and boring, couldn't finish it. ?

The story has enough to keep me interested. Not much character development or back story to make th relatable. I like when a thriller leads you thru the details not drive them home repeatedly. It did keep my attention but I would not recommend the narration, she just sort or read it.

The story is good but the narrator is one of the worst I have heard. I am going to read it instead of listen. So disappointing!

I'm finding that female FBI agents who don't follow the rules and have had a traumatic past with a missing family member are very popular. Even though these books have basically the same character, the stories are still good.

Again, the FBI agent reassigned to another department because of not following rules gets put on a case that reminds her of her past trauma.

FBI agent Rylie Wolfe’s smart mouth and lack of self-control get her assigned to a new location for a job nobody wants – working a series of unsolved murders and missing cases on a stretch of highway that runs through several states including Wyoming. She’s still haunted by the violent deaths of her mother, her mother’s friend, her bff, and the disappearance of her sister there and it’s a place she never wanted to return. She should have been victim no. 4, but for some reason, she was the girl who lived. The pattern of the new murders is baffling and she’s afraid if she doesn’t solve these cases, she’ll either be left there to rot, or fired.

This is a complex thriller with plenty of twists and turns and kept me on the edge of my seat. I like how Rylie is a single-focus person. Her life might be going to shite, but she’s fiercely determined to bring justice to the voiceless. I was simultaneously cheering for her and being horrified when she told off her immediate supervisor (and received a standing ovation from her office mates). She is definitely not a person who thinks discretion is the better part of valor.

Narrator was WRETCHED!!! Kind of predictable because of the cut and paste abrasive female lead….
I would be really interested to see my opinion if I were able to wash my memory and listen again with a competent narrator.

It was a pretty good story. I enjoyed it, but I agree with the others. The narrator just didn’t do it for me. That’s why I give four stars.

I wish I had read the other review before I started listening. The reader is odd and the voice are inconsistent. Perhaps a better book to read a physical copy.

Average plot and writing, terrible narrator. The protagonist is likeable enough, I suppose, but there's nothing here that has me excited to continue with the series.

Plot was 3.5 out of 5. Could be a 4 but I’m so jaded. The reader was just awful. She killed it for me.

The narrator is odd. The characters do not talk the way normal people talk. Plot seems like something a high schooler would write.
