Another annoying male lead..don't waste your time. I won't get that time back to read something better OK I get that is fiction and you can't stick to real procedures to write a story, But this was lame and beyond irritating. Just find something else better constructed and written

Pretty good, I enjoyed it and I’ll read more by the author. I got stuck on the improbability of Morgan being recruited by the FBI but otherwise this had some great moments.

Well that was painful. The intelligence level of the characters was worthy of, maybe, a young adult classification.
The author had the protagonist state several times that he'd "do better"... and then have him do the exact same thing again, and not even in an ironic way.
I wish this author would have done better. Seriously; an FBI agent that does nothing but let an inept civilian steer suspect interviews?
I cringe at the thought that there are several more books in this vein.

This book is about a Dr and the narrator says "med-sin". The FBI agent is not believable - she gives this doc way too many chances & for supposedly being really smart, the doc doesn't think anything through. Not to mention the careless disregard he has for his ex-wife's career. I don't mind an easy read - I generally love beach books. This one is a miss.
