About this audiobook

In the highly anticipated sequel to Leona: The Die Is Cast, a corrupt detective deals with the emotional fallout of her actions while investigating a terrorist attack in the heart of Stockholm.

A man blows himself up outside the Parliament House in Stockholm, but miraculously survives. Was he a lone wolf, or are there more heinous acts to follow? Leona Lindberg is put on the case. But Leona, who has barely escaped her trials from the last case, is focused on other things. Her family is shattered, she is living under threat, and desperately needs liquid assets. It's lucky then, that she can think outside the box like no other detective. With one foot on each side of the law, she mounts a special operation of grand proportions. And the higher the risk, the higher the rewards.

Editor's Note

Wild fun…

Leona Lindberg is a detective for the Violent Crimes Division of the Stockholm Police by day and a criminal by night. This novel is wild fun: Leona is trying to interrogate why a man tried to blow up the Parliament House while also teaching criminals how to evade police. An amoral protagonist for the ages.

This is a different type of book. The end left a lot of questions that needed answered. It is a good, suspenseful storyline with believable characters. It is worth your time.

I'm really enjoying this series and I really hope there is a 3rd audiobook to come, as the ending leaves it hanging. I know there are more books in this series, but so far only the 1st 2 are done in English.

I have absolutely loved these first two books in the leona series! I've not been able to put them down... BUT..... I am absolutely mortified that the other three books are nowhere to be found in any form in english! I have spent hours searching for them to no avail. So PLEASE PLEASE can someone find them out and translate them because I NEED to know what happens next!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the premise of the book. But after 13 hours, it was a total letdown. The book did not sum up anything. This was one of the few books I did not sit in the driveway to finish up a chapter.

I don't loathe Leona quite as much as I did in the first book. She has possibilities.

It was great until the ending. I don't understand it. Did Leona die? Did she just pass out from pain?

I enjoyed this book as much as the first, can't wait for the next.... There has to be a next! The only criticism I have really is there is so much detail about things you don't need the story could be told just as well without it. It gives me the the impression of a screen play rather than a book sometimes... And it would make really good TV. But if the minute detail wasn't there it would be just as good I did find myself thinking 'OK I've got it now move on' (just saying)
    The narrator is excellent!

Very interesting book I didn't read I didn't listen to it straight through had some medical issues and then I had therapy I had to go to so woke up just a little bit I don't like the way you scribe does that then I'll let you go back to start the book and they don't let you catch back up and I'll let you listen to it I wish they did I wish there'd be something that writers could have a little bit of conversation with script about that and just basically tell them they need to change their form their format a little bit make a little bit more a reader listener friendly but other than that I did enjoy your book I don't often like the female reader but I did enjoy that that ride last person who talked I normally don't like them but I did like her so but anyway such is life you ain't send me later some of my part but anyway I did enjoy it so keep up the good work
