Evie Porter is in Louisiana to do a job. Her job is Ryan Sumner – and finding out everything about his business for her boss, the mysterious Mr Smith. To ensure it all goes smoothly, she manoeuvres herself into a relationship with Ryan, who doesn’t know that he is a mark or that everything Evie has told him about herself is fake, including her name.
One night, out with Ryan and his fancy friends, Evie is introduced to Lucca Marino, who happens to be dating Ryan’s friend. There’s just one problem: Lucca Marino is an impostor. Who is this woman really, and why hasher, but before she can figure out his motive, tragedy strikes and she and Ryan are questioned by the police. Her undercover job is at risk.
