About this audiobook

On a notorious stretch of highway rife with serial killers, victims are appearing across multiple state lines, seemingly no link between them. Rylie, pitted against territorial police departments, must tap her brilliant mind to crack the riddle, and save the next victim before it’s too late.

In SEE YOU (A Rylie Wolf FBI Suspense Thriller—Book Three), Rylie is assigned a new string of seemingly unrelated murders, but can make little headway with multiple state departments feuding over jurisdiction.

At the same time, secrets from her past that she’d rather keep buried are coming to light.

Can Rylie keep herself sane long enough to save the next victim?

Or will the clock finally run out for good?

A complex psychological crime thriller full of twists and turns and packed with heart-pounding suspense, the RYLIE WOLF mystery series will make you fall in love with a brilliant new female protagonist and keep you turning pages late into the night. It is a perfect addition for fans of Robert Dugoni, Rachel Caine, Melinda Leigh or Mary Burton.

I really liked the book. However, I was not real crazy about the narrator. The end left wanting to go to the next book. I really the author.

kylie keeps on being head-strong and moving the searches in accordance with the leads and her instincts, driving her partner mad. They are back on the road trying to find the commonalities among a few murders that keep on adding up. The leads seem to be dead ends until they find out which place is the link among the murders. Rylie and Michael are now running - more than ever - against the clock to find the culprit before he kills again. A very good, and fast-paced story, which seems to bring Rylie nearer to her roots and to her nightmares. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

    A RE-READ FROM NOVEMBER 7TH TO 8TH, 2024.
The book three came as special agent Rylie Wolf was taking her rest and recovery from the injury, she sustains from the previous case chasing a serial killer. Of which he came very close to taking her and the final victim out, but her partner special agent Michael Brisbane got to them before the killer could do much damage. Now she must come to terms with her history and the incident with her family, and her girlfriend and mother’s murder and her sister was taken and never seen or heard from. Only she was the only survival out of that incident in her life, and she is still having problems and nightmares, especially now that she took the job back close to home.
After she left the office, and she did not get the response she was expecting from her partner she became closed book and was doing things the way she used to in the former job. History from Seattle field office where she lost her cool and let it out on her supervisor Mr. Bills Matthews. She is beginning to go back to her old ways, and she is getting case solved and doing things better since she can say that her current partner trusts her. Now they have a case where the killer is following his victims and killing them in different ways. It is difficult for them to find any evident after studying the crime scene and that body of each victim are let left where they were killed. Now when they came into the case it is already three victims and the common connection for the first three is one strange hotel. In searching for a connection, they were able to solve a cold case and brought in the killer but the chief of police from the town was not happy. That the FBI made them look bad that they did not do their work well and left the killer walked and still within the community. At one of the rest stations, three of their current victims stopped using the rest stop bathroom.

This case covers large sum of ground to follow this killer tracing where he is going and coming the agent must spend the night in the same hotel where three of their victims did spend the night. Now before they could continue to interview the staff of this hotel, they were called for the next crime scene where the killer has taken other victims making this the fourth one. As their supervisor, special agent in charge Kit Brandon called them and told them about this recent killing and the new victims. A young woman who has just graduated from Berkley University in California and she was on her way home only to catch the eyes of the killer. She was killed at the True North Luxury Cabin Rentals outside of Wynola. They got there and saw the crime and the body. After looking at the area she and her partner were not in agreement she decide to go ahead back to the hotel. She got there did interview the owner as she talked with the cleaning lady, she finds that this hotel has other staff.

Some of the findings show more connection and secret passages that were used to spy on the occupants of the different rooms. She also learns of another cold case of a prostitute who was killed in this hotel and the killer was never found. More and more parts of this hotel were coming out and she was able to find more staff that they were not informed about. One was a thief and the other has a criminal record. The case is beginning to move very fast, and she is working on her own issues into the case by stopping by her foster father place. After talking with him and sharing some memories of the past and present. She was shown the training he had been building for a long time and she finds out that Mr. Hal had added more parts. She discussed her case and at the end he made things more cleared to her, and she now knows that the past cold case of the murdered mother in the Super Mo-Tel in Montana is the connections with all the death victims. They all stage in the same room of the Super Mo-Tel and the killer must have connections with cold case murder. Special agent Rylie Wolf left for the Montana Super Mo-Tel while on her way she called her partner and this time he picked him up. She told him the connection and asked that he meet her there as soon as possible. She drove on as she got there, she was still outside waiting for her partner when she noticed that their rooms were occupied.

Outside she was still thinking things out trying to find out how she could deal with the case when she noticed movement insider the room six. Just about then a woman screams, and she went to door only to remember how the door works. She went back to the police car and brought with her some tools to use to break down the door. Special agent Rylie Wolf was able to go in and stop the killer for a moment and letting the woman go. But she was stuck with the killer who was the son of the murdered woman of the past cold case. She fights with the killer who is Seymour the handyman and his mother’s name was Carol Baines Seymour who was murdered insider the room six of the same hotel. Twenty years ago, and he has been killing woman who rented that same room that his mother was murdered.

The agents have taken in the killer although he had a past in that same hotel and the case was closed, and justice is served for the four victims that were killed by the mad man. On her own part back in Seattle the former supervisor is making trouble for her after she had moved on and is doing well. He could not accept that he made a mistake about her, and she was right he was still making noise. Great read and it is a very good book.
