I love the humour that is intermingled with the love stories this author shows us.. I openly laugh at the parts taking place in the nursing home and the grandmothers are a hoot

Chapter 2 is ridiculous. They know each other. Everybody knows everybody

Chapter 5 the end of it - the problems they have lol

As long as we understand this does not work like that in real life?‍♀️?

Fisher is the adamantly self proclaimed life-long bachelor. He has his reasons because he’s afraid of loss of those he loves after experiencing it first hand when his mother died tragically when he was a child. As jaded as he was, he knew Allie was special. Allie valued her friendships over everything else, so when Fisher quit talking to her after their one night of passion, she had to move on. When they see each other again for the first time in 5 months, “Unexpected Surprise” is an understatement.
Fisher embracing his new future & embracing Allie was more than anyone expected of him. His protectiveness of her and desire to be there for her through everything showed his growth. In the end, these 2 became more than they could have wished for. Becoming a part of the Greene family was a fairy tale for Allie.

I enjoyed the story and the series. Piper is a very skilled writer. **Spoiler Alert**
If you are not a person’s spouse, you cannot make life or death decisions for them without an advanced medical directive. Just sayin’.
