IT WASN’T A MURDER OFFICER!

Piling everyone into the Land Rover, we headed to the nearest foodie spot.

Living in a modern cottage in the Forest of Dean, the closest restaurant to us was a Toby Carvery.

Somewhere that my fiancé Jake, now 32, and I had been with our son Roman, now seven, on many occasions.

And this time, not only did we need to feed ourselves, but the bump, too.

Trying for a second baby, I fell pregnant after just three months in the beginning of January 2023.

‘What’s that on the screen?’ I asked, as Roman came to the early six-week heartbeat scan with Jake and I.

Immediately shaking his head, it wasn’t the reaction we were expecting.

However, holding my hand, it didn’t take long for him to get excited about being a brother.
