About this audiobook

Hollywood heartthrob, Gavin Price invaded our small town, Sunrise Bay, like he owned it.

Gavin was my biggest celebrity crush when I was young. He bears the charisma of an easygoing boy-next-door mixed with a rule-breaker personality both in person and on screen.

For a moment, I thought maybe my fairy godmother sent him to me.

Until he decided to run against my mother for mayor.

Everyone in our town knows my mom’s happiness comes before my own, so I take it as my personal mission to show him who really runs this town.

I just didn’t realize that being my mom’s right-hand woman would put me in such close proximity to him. Very quickly, I question whether he wants to win the mayoral race or me.

This one is my favorite Greene book so far. Overall I've had a hard time getting into this family like the Baileys. I felt pulled into that family more. I guess I'm not feeling the individual characters in the Greene stories. It seems like the reader was given more background with each Bailey even within the separate stories. It gave you time to know them and emotionally connect on a deeper level therefore appreciating and anticipating each story as it came. The Greenes seem to lack as much backstory. The Baileys stuck with me. I miss the Baileys so much I may read them all again lol. I wanted to be a part of that family. That's what this series should do.

Gavin & Posey’s story is legit a fairy tale. As Posey said, “who would’ve ever thought…that my celebrity crush would fall in love with me?”
Gavin knew how special Posey was the first time he ever met her. A meet cute riddled with animosity, but there’s just something about a woman who stands up to him that gets to Gavin. Posey was a lost cause…she didn’t stand a chance in denying Gavin. I mean, she had his poster on the wall, ha.
Gavin’s relentless pursuit rivaled Posey’s desire to be her mom’s happiness. She always had been, but Marla had to show her that she was happy, she just needed family. And Marla needed to push her to pursue her own happiness. Once Posey focused on herself, for once, the romance of a lifetime was hers to keep.
