About this audiobook

He doesn’t do relationships. She doesn’t do flings. Everything they thought is about to unravel…

Frankie

When you say you're a sexologist, people imagine Marilyn Monroe. They don't expect a woman who uses a wheelchair. As the host of the All Access Podcast, I'm breaking barriers, crushing stigmas, and creating sexual connections that are fulfilling for my fans. I'm like cupid, but with pink hair and fewer diapers.

Only, I've hit a snag. A lovely listener wants some advice about accessible rope play and I'm drawing a big fat blank. Which leaves me with no option but to get out there and give it a go.

Which is how I meet Jay Wood—rigger, carpenter, and all-round hottie.

I'd be open to letting him wine and dine me—only Jay isn't my type. He's not a one-girl kind of guy. Monogamy isn't even in his vocab, and I'm not a woman who'll settle for being second choice.

But the closer we get, the more Jay has me tied up in knots.

And it's making me think, maybe I could compromise and accept a little Wood in my life. Even if it's only temporary.

Jay

Frankie's funny, intelligent, and ridiculously sexy. This should be a no-brainer. A little fun in the sheets, and a little romp with some ropes—simple.

Only the infuriating woman is asking for more. I'm not that kind of guy. I wouldn't even know how to be that kind of guy. I'm the definition of easy.

It'll be fine.

Except... why does my heart feel frayed? And why is it I can't help but consider taking the ultimate leap of faith—tying myself to Frankie. Permanently.

Started reading because I'm a wheelchair girl and like reading romance about other wheelchair girls. I liked the MC, even really liked the LI, was curious how they were going to work accessible bondage into the whole and while that was interesting and that first time between them was really hot, it seemed like the rope play was more of an afterthought after while instead of truly part of their sex life. And the issue of commitment issues seemed under-developed a bit since he'd swore he wasn't in it for the relationship but ran headlong into it anyway. Other than that, an enjoyable read that's a little heavy on the sex scenes.

Came for the disability rep, stayed for the smut. This didn't disappoint. I loved the FMC for calling out ableism and speaking her mind. I love the MMC's rope skills and ability to recognize that he needed therapy. We like people who prioritize their mental well being in this house. Also, the tie thing and the bathroom thing were such thoughtful gestures, even better than his final grand gesture in my opinion.
I just wish I connected to the friend group too.

TW : (a lot) of sexual content and graphic sex scenes, ableism, bullying

    Genre : contemporary, romance, adult

There was sooooo much diversity in this book, so much accessibility issues were raised, and on so many levels, and ahhhh it was awesome. Although there are a LOT of graphic sex scenes and at one point I just started skipping through them because I was a bit fed up ?

This was an absolutely adorable story. The characters were so quick and clever and their chemistry was amazing. The book was sexy, funny and the story had me cheering all the way through. Love the inclusivity all the way around.

i...didn't like it that much. i found the premise to be quite interesting but the execution was just bad? the pacing was not it, and let's not talk about the "grand gesture" and the end ??

I appreciate the disability representation and the learning opportunities in this book, there is plenty of steam but the instalove thing didn't work for me. There was no build up, no angst, not much in the way of chemistry. This story could have been much more substantial than how it landed. Overall it was a quick and entertaining read. The narrators were very good

Cute story. It happened way too fast and it did not have time to the story to develop better, but I liked it.
    Frankie was super cute.

    Horrible male narrator

I enjoyed this book a lot, loving the portrayal of regular life as a wheelchair user, without making that the characters whole personality.

Okay, the narrators were magnificent! I I wouldn't listen it as an audiobook, I'd dnf. I didn't enjoyed the love in the first sight and the drama at the end because it wasn't necessary. I enjoyed Frankie as heroine. She really knew what she wants etc..Jay was okay, but not that I'd fell in love with him
