About this audiobook

After All the Feels and Spoiler Alert, Olivia Dade once again delivers a warm and wonderful romantic comedy about two co-stars who once had an incredible one-night stand—and after years of filming on the same remote island, are finally ready to yield to temptation again…

Maria’s one-night-stand—the thick-thighed, sexy Viking of a man she left without a word or a note—just reappeared. Apparently, Peter’s her surly Gods of the Gates co-star, and they’re about to spend the next six years filming on a desolate Irish island together. She still wants him…but he now wants nothing to do with her.

Peter knows this role could finally transform him from a forgettable character actor into a leading man. He also knows a failed relationship with Maria could poison the set, and he won’t sabotage his career for a woman who’s already walked away from him once. Given time, maybe they can be cooperative colleagues or friends—possibly even best friends—but not lovers again. No matter how much he aches for her.

For years, they don’t touch off-camera. But on their last night of filming, their mutual restraint finally shatters, and all their pent-up desire explodes into renewed passion. Too bad they still don’t have a future together, since Peter’s going back to Hollywood, while Maria’s returning to her native Sweden. She thinks she needs more than he can give her, but he’s determined to change her mind, and he’s spent the last six years waiting. Watching. Wanting.

His shipwrecked Swede doesn’t stand a chance.

Olivia Dade

Olivia Dade grew up an undeniable nerd, prone to ignoring the world around her as she read any book she could find. Her favorites, though, were always, always romances. As an adult, she earned an M.A. in American history and worked in a variety of jobs that required the donning of actual pants: Colonial Williamsburg interpreter, high school teacher, academic tutor, and (of course) librarian. Now, however, she has finally achieved her lifelong goal of wearing pajamas all day as a hermit-like writer and enthusiastic hag. She currently lives outside Stockholm with her delightful family and their ever-burgeoning collection of books.

This book was incredibly cute and heart warming. The lovers to friends to lovers trope is something you don’t see often and I love it! Also can we talk about how the plus size & fat rep is not achieved by having fat phobia as the main discourse!! Well done Olivia. Absolutely incredible

I didn't realize this was a series and jumped straight from Spoiler Alert to this book but I don't feel like I missed anything reading them out of order. I'm excited to move onto book 2

AHHHHHH! Screaming at this perfection! Body positivity, Maria- a main leading lady who speaks about her body and body hair like an absolute boss, Peter with his gentle soul, kind heart and absolutely filthy mouth! This was so good. I couldn't put it down.
I wasn't a fan of the time jumps( but I understand why they were necessary) and I thought Maria was being harsh in her argument about leaving ( but I like how her and Peter resolved that without any of them compromising everything). And then there were cameos by Alex... and the smut. I had a fantastic time.

I haven't always been a Kelsey Navarro fan, but she did an amazing job with this book!

Additionally, I am NOT a fan of books that start out with a one night stand, and in general I take a big "pass" on those books. But I'll make the exception for my very favorite authors, and Olivia Dade is definitely on that list!

For me this was the weakest book in this trilogy, but that point is made less significant by HOW MUCH I loved the first two books. And never fear....our favorite character from those books make substantial cameos throughout this one!

I think this book suffered a bit in plotting, and could have used another editing pass or two throughout the "conflict" section. THAT SAID, Olivia's writing is just so beautiful to me that I was mesmerized throughout.

I'll miss this world a lot, but am looking forward to her next series, which I anticipate will just get stronger!

I also want to add this here: for those who have enjoyed this series, DON'T PASS UP her book of three novellas. I'm not usually a novella reader either, but the first two were amazing! (The third I can't really comment on, as I was really distracted by life stuff as I was listening to it.)

I enjoyed this so so much! That signature, heartwarming, funny, witty and spicy style that is so specific to Olivia Dade! A beautiful conclusion to the series.
