I couldn’t finish this book. I wanted so badly to love it, but it just wasn’t doing it for me.

3.5 stars from me

All of Olivia Dade's books are "fantasy" already, in that they almost always pair a very plus sized woman with a gorgeous guy who is a fantastic physical specimen in every way.

This one reeeeally stretched the fantasy by additionally making the H an ex-pro tennis player 14 years younger than the h.

That said, his earnest attraction to the h was conveyed so sweetly that this reader WANTED to believe in it! I really did. I just never quite got there.

But like all her books, this one was really well-written!

Love how real the characters are. Super flawed but perfect for the story.

The short term they had to know each other required a huge suspend of disbelief to be able to enjoy the novel. Nonetheless it was charming and the dynamic between the MCs was super sweet and hot. 3.5 To be a 4 it needed more laughs. I think that is what the author discovered with Spoiler alert. That one and the one about Alex where so much more funny!
