About this audiobook

Every woman in Millie Delacroix's family is cursed-kind of.

Birth control just doesn't work for them. Like ever. Going to the altar knocked up is pretty much a family tradition. And twenty-four-year-old Millie refuses to let that happen to her-again.

Especially now that she's responsible for raising her brothers and sister. A life of celibacy is her best defense-at least until the kids are grown and can take care of themselves. And, really, what's ten years with no sex? No men. No sex. No love. It's a fool-proof plan.

Until she meets Luc Valencia.

The Mexican-American contractor is just trying to do his best. Since his father handed him the reins to the family business, every day is a test to prove himself. At this point in his life, professionalism has to be his top priority.

At least until Millie becomes Luc's client. Even with too much on her shoulders, the feisty redhead has the power to set him off, crack him up, or bring him to his knees.

All he has to do is resist falling for her through one kitchen remodel, and everything will be fine. Right?

Just starting it, but the female narrator is awfuuuuul. Her voice is like the automatic voice who reads Reddit message on YouTube. This is horrible.

This was a cute read. I have no idea how the main character got to the conclusion that SHE was cursed because anytime women in her family had sex they'd get pregnant. That's not a curse it's biology. AND it's not like EVERY TIME they did it they'd get pregnant, just some times. Probably a family of hyper ovulaters lol which is hereditary ??‍♀️

So cute. So addicting. The female narrator isn’t great. But the male is excellent. I lived for his chapters. Loved the story.

Loved the story and make narrator was great. The female narrator was painful. Simply painful. I almost stopped listening several times but the story and the male narrator kept me going. Will try the author again but only if the narrator is better.

PUSH PAST the narration! It gets better (or you get used to it?) and the story DESERVES to be heard. Honestly one of my favorite rom coms and heros.

This was the first book I listened to with two voices reading the story, and it was magical! The story is written from two points of view, and flows seamlessly from Millie to Luca and back. I highly recommend this romantic tale which is beautifully woven by the author and delivered by the two readers.

Adorable! Cute! Loving! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to thes book. Have been looking for a Mexican-American romance and this one was the only one that appeared.
The way Lucas family acted and related to each other was too true. Even the insecurities that first generation chicanos/Hispanics go through Loved the grandma. Only gripe is PLEASE don’t call tortillas “wraps” anything involving tortillas have their name: quesadillas, tacos, burritos ets not Wraps. Overall FIVE stars.

Amazing novel. I can highly recommend to anyone in the mood for a romance. Though the woman narrators voice is a bit irritating.
