About this audiobook

New York Times bestselling author Tessa Bailey returns with a unique, sexy romantic comedy about a young married couple whose rocky relationship needs a serious renovation...

Rosie and Dominic Vega are the perfect couple: high school sweethearts, best friends, madly in love. Well, they used to be anyway. Now Rosie’s lucky to get a caveman grunt from the ex-soldier every time she walks in the door. Dom is faithful and a great provider, but the man she fell in love with ten years ago is nowhere to be found. When her girlfriends encourage Rosie to demand more out of life and pursue her dream of opening a restaurant, she decides to demand more out of love, too. Three words: marriage boot camp.

Never in a million years did Rosie believe her stoic, too-manly-to-emote husband would actually agree to relationship rehab with a weed-smoking hippie. Dom talking about feelings? Sitting on pillows? Communing with nature? Learning love languages? Nope. But to her surprise, he’s all in, and it forces her to admit her own role in their cracked foundation. As they complete one ridiculous—yet surprisingly helpful—assignment after another, their remodeled relationship gets stronger than ever. Except just as they’re getting back on track, Rosie discovers Dom has a secret... and it could demolish everything.

Meh. Initially I was excited I came across this as it seemed a different POV for a storyline but some parts dragged on, were super corny and honestly would have been so much better to listen to Dominic with a male voice, she tried to do the NY accents though, kudos for that ?

Fun, serious, sarcastic, seggxy, loving, lying and forgiveness this book has it all. A couple falling apart that learns how to come together even when told they won't make it. Love does conquer all.

This was a good book. It would have been great if we could have left the final conflict. I mean at that point we all saw it coming so it could have been wrapped up with 2 fewer chapters.
The characters were realistic and well thought out.
    A good one day read.

I loved this book. It was a wonderful marriage in trouble book with a couple who truly loved each other but forgot how to communicate. Their journey was real and beautiful and it tugged at my heart. Dominic and Rose’s chemistry was off the charts and the build up was epic. Tessa Bailey has a wonderful way with words and boy can she write dirty talk!
    The narration was great too.

This really deserves 4.5 stars. Felt better written than many of the others in the genre. I loved the this author didn't parrot all the others. Also didn't feel like it had lot of dumb tropes. I look forward to more from this author.

Pair a broken to healed relationship with Rosie & Dom’s chemistry and it’s a no-brainer. But as much as I loved Dominic, his choices almost through the ENTIRE book made it hard to root for him.

Ughhh couldn’t stop rolling my eyes. I get is a romance book but all the sex was frankly too much. And the main character was insufferable.
Dominic and his baby girl oh boy. Nope

I can't think of many romance books where the couple is already married... I thought in the beginning I'd be routing against Dominic, but I thoroughly enjoyed these two finding their way back to each other

Fantastic. The characters made me laugh, feel their love, and their hurts, even made me a little horny during Rose and Dominique's many passionate & erotic love-making encounters. A brilliantly, and very honestly, written book about a married couple with a strong chemical attraction towards each other. They need to learn each other's language of love. Not just the physical act of love. This is a book where many of us can learn, along with this young couple. Get a few hints & tips for yourselves along the way. I thoroughly recommend this rom/com. Enjoy, as I have.

This book got 4.5 stars from me and boy Tessa seriously knows how to write the right mix of sweet romance and hot bothering sex.
The more I read the more I wished all relationships were like this, the love, the heat, the insecurities but more than that was how Tessa talked out relationships going through tough patches are worked out… the real messiness, the tears, the love…. Man seriously anyone who is unsure of how relationships work should read this one.

Wow, I can't tell if I love this one more than Fix Her Up or not. They were both amazing!

Ps. I didn't have to make awkward bathroom trips this time.

Super steamy. Liked it generally. HATE the nicknames Tessa Bailey uses. “Babygirl” and “Honeygirl” come on. I’m going to read the 3rd one but I swear this cowboy from Texas better not call Bethany some stupid nickname or I will DNF it.

If I didn’t despise the cringy nicknames so much, it would have been a 4⭐️ read.

New favorite second-chance romance! This was sooo good. The character growth was phenomenal, on both the male and female lead’s parts. I loved how hard they worked to save their marriage - it made it feel REAL. The narration was flawless, and the chemistry between the main characters was hot AF. Highly recommend.

Ohhh I wanted to love this one but just couldn't. Second chance romance, marriage in trouble- I was very interested in this one but the execution fell with a hard thud. The sex scenes completely overwhelmed the story- even for a romance where steam is expected it was a bit much. I loathed how the marriage therapist was depicted, doing things that were downright unethical and would cost you your license. It started off strong but went down hard. The narrator did a good job though
