Moxie Rose is the combined pen name of sisters from different misters and award-winning authors Bam Shepherd and Heather Hildenbrand. Together, they write sexy romcoms about characters they’d want to be friends with in real life and spend way too much time writing in their Lisa Frank journals about whether or not Joe Exotic will ever write them back. This was a quick listen that I stumbled upon. It took me back to those early days of quarantine. I liked the interaction between Embry and Knox but I wasn’t a fan of Knox’s character. He didn’t react and talk the way I would expect a guy to do in this type of relationship. A predictable ending but enjoyable to get to.

I didn't like it. Predictable, childish, no plot. Not worth the time.

A very chill listen. Good story and i liked the progress. Kind of felt the guy got manipulated into the relationship but at the same time, ut was obvious he was in denial and afraid to loose her. I also liked the way they integrated real life problems like Covid but didn't fester on it. Just enough focus. And i always do enjoy these to narrators. Especially Teddy ! Any book with one or both of them is worth the time!
