Author

Savannah Scott

Savannah Scott loves writing happily-ever-after rom-coms with scenes where the kisses make you melt. Her characters feel like long-lost friends, and the settings make you want to take off on a road trip. When she's not writing, she’s probably hiding with a book, dancing Zumba, or being the fun carpool mom who cranks the tunes and always goes through the drive-thru for copious amounts of sugar and fat on the way home from school.

Good enough to finish but a very flat plot line. Like the whole book you're just waiting for something to happen, some twist or anything really. It doesn't come lol. Just a happy ending.. the end.

I read this series out of order and was thrilled to go back to the roots and get Trevor and Lexi's story.

Savannah Scott does a fantastic job of developing a wonderfully quirky small town with a friend group who is more like family. I love a solid cast of characters and completely enjoy reading their interconnected stories. Bordeaux (pronounced bored ox) is a comforting hug set among the corn fields and I couldn't have loved it more.

Trevor and Lexi have been besties forever and the timing has never been right for them to take it to the next level. The alternating points-of-view was fantastic, as the reader is treated to the inner thoughts and deep feelings of both characters, and they're highly entertaining. I love how they share a duplex, carpool to work, and *try* to support each other through life, especially when Lexi gets on dating apps and starts trying to find her Mr. Perfect. Those dates right there brought on some hard-core guffaws.

With true affection and sparks of chemistry floating around, the way things played out and come together was pure joy. I enjoyed this tale of getting shipped and I'm going to keep on plowing through this series.

    Content: mild romance

My first read by this author, and I’ll definitely be reading more! Fun and charming, this small-town friends-to-lovers romance ticked all the boxes for me! Extremely likable and relatable MCs, low angst, and had a satisfying HEA. Even if you prefer some steam in romance reads, I don’t think you’ll miss it in Friendshipped…held my interest from beginning to end!

Narrators were perfect for the characters! ’m a fan of first-person reads with dual narration, but pretty picky about certain vocal performances. I’ll be looking for more books narrated by McFadden and Damron.

It was a very refreshing story from the usual romance novels, you could only listen to so many of the same types of stories. The one thing that did bother me a little bit is the amount of time through the book it take to get the main characters together, they could have spent a little less time on that and a little more time on their life together. Other than that it was a very enjoyable thing to listen to.

This is such a fun, clean RomCom! I love the town of Bordeaux. I have read all of the series so far but had to revisit these books once the audio was released. The first time I read Friendshipped, I wanted to hear it! The narration did not disappoint!

This book went on forever in the worst way. I think Lexi was meant to be an endearing character, but she was honestly insufferable. Annoyingly cluelessly and unrealistically clumsy, I couldn’t stand the parts from her point of view. Also, the character of Chase could have been entirely removed from the book since he served zero purpose but to make the book last even longer.
