Wow! I'm surprised how good that was! Zombies and vampires together in a futuristic romance? Got to be the worst kind of stupid cheesy nonsense right?! WRONG! It had plot, characters with depth, and absolutely original world build! I actually even got genuinely creeped out in a few places, so A+ on the zombie horror. The romance was a bit on the sweet side for my taste( was hoping for a more dirty rough alpha thing) but still satisfying - no fades to black scenes at least! I hope it gets dirtier in the next book lol. But that also speaks for the story- this wasn't just smut. The focus is on the plot And development of characters and their relationships. Very enjoyable and dual POV and narration made it an extra treat.

I am totally obsessed with this incredible book. The storyline is so fresh, so new in the world of urban fantasy books. Mixing zombie apocalypse with vampires sounds crazy but it's actually a very good idea. It brings something special to this story. I loved every second of this book. The characters are well developed and the MC is totally badass!! Oh and the heat? can't wait for book two.
