About this audiobook
All she wanted from the old farmhouse was the gorgeous mantel, not a dead body.
Paisley Sutton always expects the unexpected when she goes into a house to salvage the architectural prizes before its torn down. She evens knows she might encounter a rodent or two. But she really isn’t expecting to find a dead body, not again. And when it turns out the young man she found slumped in the house’s basement was killed, Paisley discovers that it’s not only the house that was abandoned.
Will her research trigger the decades-old fears that someone hoped to bury in the rubble?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I so thoroughly enjoyed the reading of this adventurous book!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Not plausible. Holes in story - Protagonist is not a professional as you cannot take a child on a demolition site. Feeds child junk meals. Just off story. Listening for the 2nd time, if she is off finding murders how does this budgeting single mother make ends meet?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent, clean, cozy mystery. Main characters are Christian. I'm really enjoying this series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book!!! It has great characters who I just love !! This one had me on edge ? great book
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The good: Well written, with likable characters and good pacing.
The bad: Absurdly unbelievable plot, making the book annoying. A small injection of reality would have made the book so much better. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really liked this little mystery. I don’t usually like anything to do with cults though, but this one was okay. The narrator was awesome.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was Pretty corny and religious, but fun. Looking forward to the next one.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Everything. If I wrote it all out, it would be too long for the comment box.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I wanted to like this, and it’s just so ridiculously implausible (even for a cozy mystery) with so many holes in the story that I had a hard time listening until the end.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book and her previous is just full of woke b******* it's tiresome and tedious

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was excellent and I can't wait to listen to the next one in the series. It is well worth your time to listen to it. I hope the budding romance that is occurring in this story continues in the next book in the series.
