Author

Misha Popp

Misha Popp enjoys writing about murdery women and over-the-top baked goods, but not so much about herself. She lives in rural Massachusetts, where she bakes entirely too many pies and sculpts things out of chocolate. An unrepentant school nerd, she has a collection of degrees that have nothing to do with the jobs that pay her.

Adorable yet mysterious. I really enjoyed this book. It was cute and adorable and made you smile and then it would jump back into.. what in the world?!

This was a nice cosy mystery that centred around baking. I didn't know it had magical realism, so I was positively surprised by that aspect. The only thing that made me not enjoy this book to the fullest is that I dislike real life politics in books, because it's taking away from the escapism of reading.

Did not finish. Just tell me a story, don't try to shove your politics into everything.

It's not the best book ever but it is entertaining.
