About this audiobook
To solve an impossible murder, you need an impossible hero …
Seventy-seven-year-old Judith Potts is blissfully happy. She lives alone in a faded mansion in Marlow, sets crosswords for The Times, and there's no man in her life to tell her what to do or how much whisky to drink.
One evening, while out swimming in the Thames, Judith witnesses a brutal murder. When the local police don't believe her story, Judith and two unlikely friends decide to investigate for themselves. Together, they are the Marlow Murder Club.
But soon another body turns up, and it seems that a real-life serial killer is at work. Now the puzzle they set out to solve has become a trap from which they might never escape …

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Such fun! I love Judith Potts and want to be like her when I’m old. Well-written, well-plotted, well-read. The narrator nailed each character. If you like British wit, quirky villages, and unlikely heroes, then you will enjoy this one.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Fun, from start to finish! When a cozy mystery is what you need, this is one of the best! The characters are believable and delightful, and the plot is unique. The narrator is excellent.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I absolutely loved this! Judith is such a fun main character. And the dynamic relationships she forms with Susie & Becks are a rush of good vibrations. I loved the quant setting of Marlow and village life. Especially the conclusion with the church bells ringing. Working with DS Tanika Malik was also absolutely delightful. So, very glad there is going to be another book in this series! I want to hang out with these ladies again!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Agatha Christie lovers will rejoice at this lovely mystery! Fun and interesting characters! Lots of twists and turns though the last chapter! Highly recommend!
