About this audiobook

Dear Mister.. . . no, too formal.

Hey there sweet cheeks. . . no, too forward.

*Clears throat*

To whom it may concern,

Full disclosure; before we move forward with this email, I would like it to be known that I have consumed an adequate amount of alcoholic beverages to intoxicate myself tonight. Three margaritas, two shots, and one beer — because it was free.

I think it's important to be open and honest with your co-workers, don't you?

So here I am, being open and honest. Drunk but honest. Or just drunk with lust? You decide.

I have a hopeless, foolish, schoolgirl crush on you when you are the last person on earth I should be falling for. Did you know people around the office call you a sadist? An egomaniac. An insensitive, arrogant prick. But what they don't know is your bark is worse than your bite. And that bite doesn't scare me. The fact is, I'd love that bite of yours to nip at my bare skin while we're both wearing nothing but sheets.

For once I want you to look at me as more than one of your employees.

And as long as we're being honest, that navy blue suit you wear? With the crisp white shirt? It really makes me want to loosen your tie and show you exactly who's boss.

Love,

Sincerely,

Yours

Funny and entertaining. I listened to this as an audiobook and my only criticism is that the male narrator's female voice is awful and makes you think the girls are all bimbos however this isn't too big of an issue because of the two narrators even this issue out.

So love it!!! The feisty character of the female lead is just so amazing that no doubt the male lead had fallen into. Also, the tension building between the two is somehow frustrating that it is somehow slow. The ending too is forced, should have focused on extending it.

Read some awful reviews for this book and I really don't understand why? It's a sweet and funny book, OK so Rome seems to be a bit of an ass to start with but that's always the case with intense alpha type and Alexander Cendese narrates him to perfection with his voice (which I BTW love). Payton is strong and feminine and sassy just how I like it. This is an easy reading/listening romance with some hot sexy time, if you don't take it to seriously it is very very enjoyable!!

Idk what the review about “Yelling” is about but the male characters are hilarious and I loved this book! Can’t wait to read the next one about Hunter.

Ney and Quinn make a sexy and comical writing duo. Ney's signature laugh out loud funny characters never fail to keep one engrossed in the story and Quinn's sexy scenes make for a sweet and enjoyable story.

The story was fine but the narrator’s voices ruined it for me. The man always seemed like he was yelling, even when it was supposed to be a soft spoken line. The woman always sounded like she was on the verge of crying.

I enjoyed the story line, a lot of the grammar issues people had in the print version seem to be fixed. Rome, however, was not my favorite romance character. There was a scene in the latter part of the book where he enjoyed crushing the heroine’s self esteem. “For her own good.” Just horrible. He made a huge turnaround at the end, so yay?

My main problem was the male narrator. His female voice was grating & downright obnoxious. His choice for the male lead’s best friend was pretty awful as well. The guys are from New York, but the best friend has a high key fake surfer voice. It just sounded stupid.

Started so shit I was most definitely going to give it 1 star, it got me cringing with the amount of times it says big hands, like he grabs a pen with his big hands, he massaged his temples with *his big hands*, I wanna his massive hands on me and so forth, I was almost thinking, wait is him an alien, how big could those hands be?! However it became better and better in which chapter and I ended up falling in love with this story, almost looks like it was not even the same author writing the second bit but this story is adorable, I loved it, it is just not a 5 stars because of the cringe beginning.

Fun, witty, wish the build up was little shorter and getting started know each other was a little more in depth, but it has a decent flow, there’s a key storyline that doesn’t get resolved than was disappointing

The name narrator is yelling? Like not the voice I enjoy and his tone isn’t how I’d read through the words.

This book was okay. I think it was humorous than anything. As an honest review, I think the plot was great. The idea of this book was amazing and what drew me in. However, the execution lacked, severely. There were a TON of clichés throughout, and they kind of made me cringe. I would read this if you’re in between books and just want something as a pallete cleanser, but this isn’t something I’d be begging my friend to pick up. This book slightly took me back to my wattpad days, honestly :/

Ok storyline I'm interested in Hunter's story so will look out for it. I agree the narration needs improvement, Ava's narration was ok actually but the guy's female voices grate in the worst possible way so I kind of hope he isn't involved in the next book, unless he only reads male character's voices and none of the female character's dialogue. (Fingers crossed)

It's entertaining, would have loved it if not for the female's narration, it's so over. ugh. and how can she pronounce "tsk" as "tehsek?"
