Missing the epilogue!
I own the ebook and a chapter is missing from this audiobook. But the narration was fantastic.

Their banter
Chase's cocky attitude and his crazy stories made this read so entertaining.

They make each other happy
They complement each other
I love me a strong heroine and Reese was so fun to read I'd have loved a bit more of Chase's POV because he was everything!

4,5⭐ because the ending was super rushed
And there's so many questions I have unanswered but overall was a fantastic read

Chase Parker is so sweet and fun. The narrator is really talented and has a way of pausing and fluctuating her voice where you get lost in the character and you can feel the emotion. I also love her ability to convey inner thoughts versus dialogue.

I liked the book a lot... the characters seems super realistic and I laughed throughout the story from the witty dialogue and likable storyline. I did notice the epilogue was missing from the audio book... don’t know if that was a glitch only I experienced but I’m glad the book was also available on here so I could find out more about their happy ending!

Bossman is a delicious tale of an Alpha Male CEO, a feisty marketing specialist and some hot sexy tension in the office that will curl your toes. Bossman is a story that has been recommended to me by many, especially by those that don't read romance too often, so I just knew that this book I needed to grab up. I was delighted to find that it was a part of Audible's Romance Package. So I grabbed it up and had a blast while I "listened while I worked" . I will say that I want to talk about the narration first. I really struggled with the narration at times.At first, the female narrator, took a while to grow on me. Now eventually I did like her voice, but it took time. I would have loved to see more POV from our hero. We do get to see some flashbacks of his past, but I would have loved to get more depth from his character because HE ROCKED MY WORLD!! One unique aspect I have discovered from Vi Keeland, is that on the surface it seems like a fun and sexy romance, but there is so much emotional intimacy that is blew me away at first because I never expect it from this author. I really adore the chemistry between these two. We have our hero, who knows how good looking he is and is cocky but highly fun to read. Our heroine doesn't want to complicate her job with a relationship but it happens anyway.The dynamics in their relationship proves to be wonderful and captivating. I was so drawn into this book here, the romance was delightful and I believe I was smiling all the way. They had me laughing and their quirks end up working so well for each other. I do want what I don’t have. That’s part of it. But not in the way you think. Don’t ask me to explain it, but when I’m around you, I’m happy. That’s all I’m after Overall this proved to be one of the most sexiest office romances you could ever pick up!! Gratifying, Sensual and Endearing!!

This book was totally unexpected and I mean that in the BEST way. I would expect nothing less from Vi Keeland. She always throws in an emotional curveball in her writing but this was a full-on twister and I was left gasping! Keeland's books are always filled with terrific banter, fun story lines, unexpected turn of events and usually some emotional bombshells and this is one of the reasons I enjoy her books so much! They have it ALL! In this workplace romance, Chase Parker becomes Reese Annesley's boss & working together can get complicated when you're both pining over one another.

Chase Parker was one surprising guy! You initially think he's just a super cocky, smooth-talking, possessive guy but there are layers to this man. He's dynamic and charismatic. Hilarious, fast & witty. His ability to come up with such detailed stories at the drop of a hat was one of my favorite things in this book. Absolutely hilarious! But Chase really pulls at the heartstrings people. He's got so much emotional depth to him and Keeland's writing brings that out along with the stunning performance from Maxine Mitchell.

It takes awhile for this relationship to blossom into something real and one where these two feel they can trust one another but their crazy chemistry is off the charts for one another from the beginning. They flirt, tease and banter back and forth with each other but it's the dramatic conflict and a turn of events in the story that really tests their relationship and love for one another.

Let's talk narration...Maxine Mitchell is just so dang talented. End of story! I enjoy listening to her every single time she performs, Boss Man being no exception!??? She narrates most of the book with flashback chapters narrated by Joe Arden. Maxine is the real star in this one! She delivers a performance that runs the emotional gamut. She's flirty, bossy, sweet, tender & vulnerable throughout the entire performance. Joe's chapters are so touching & poignant. You get the backstory from him and the few chapters he did narrate were superb!

This book IS about two people who fall in love at work but it's also about dealing with loss, fearfulness and working through heartache from the past. They help each other through it all and it was fantastic. Don't sit on this one!
