This had come highly recommended, but honestly it was just ok. Main character was not believable (without spoiling it for you, basically she makes really ridiculous professional decisions throughout, and then toward the end, a comparatively minor transgression takes on outsized importance.) Also it was all fairly predictable- although it had a good twist at the end tbat I didn’t see coming.

Wow what a ride. I kept screaming and cringing at Meredith’s actions. The twists kept coming. I’ve never had a book leave me with my mouth hanging open at the very last sentence. The narration was excellent. I hope Vi Keeland writes more thrillers. This was so good.
