About this audiobook

Roan King. The uncrowned king of Barnett University. He's like a freaking celebrity around here. Apparently, he's god's gift to both football and the ladies. But to me, the guy is nothing more than a conceited player. You know the type — a steroid-infused meathead coasting through college on his football prowess.

I've had the sad misfortune of running into him on campus. Literally. As in I literally slammed into him before spilling my iced coffee all over that wide, rippling chest of his. I've sworn to steer clear of the cocky son-of-a ever since.

Unfortunately, Operation Avoid Roan King isn't going so well. Everywhere I go, there he is. If he weren't so ridiculously hot, he would be a hell of a lot easier to forget. But I can't shake the sneaking suspicion that Roan King will lead to my utter ruin and downfall.

It feels like two different authors wrote the first and second half of the book. At some point she starts throwing in G—D—- willy nilly. The story is decent but drug out a little and I can always do without the use of GD.

Good story, enjoyed it! I wish there was a male narrator for the part of the male voice ... Otherwise i enjoyed!

Really sweet college romance book between a footballer and a ballerina. Two well developed characters that leave you enticed to learn more about them as the book progresses. HEA to leave you satisfied.

Very well written. Loved the characters and how real it felt.

I liked the characters in general and the storyline but for how spicy the author set this up to be, I didn’t expect the first time the characters had sex to be a fade to black. It was super confusing. I feel like there could have been a bit more substance with the relationship itself but overall I did enjoy it

Well written book but the plot is not the best. Definitely for young adults. I didn’t enjoy beginning, it had too much emphasis on casual sex. It’s weird to think that most girls on campus are whores and that’s ok for guys to treat them like that. I did like how Ivy and Roan’s relationship developed and how he has changed.

It was really good the pot it was good .The suspense is killing me, but I loved every bit of it. I wish you had played out in the cabin scenes a lot more a little bit more action for the first time I wish it was in detail

I wasn't sure what other reviews meant by too much internal dialogue, but man were they right. So many repetitive thoughts! And then the dialogue mirrored them a lot.
I wish they would've used a male and female narrator, but she did a good enough job and sounded like a college student.

Simple plot, way way too much drag. Could be cut in half.

Not a bad one but could have been better its college age thinking and romance fits the story.

Male protagonist improves—the cringe doesn’t last... plot is somewhat obvious.

This is the first Jennifer Sucevic book I’ve read/listened to but it won’t be my last.
    I love Roan and Ivy.
It’s a shame the other 2 books in the series aren’t audible

To much internal thoughts, takes forever to come to conclusions. To much thoughts and to little details when finally something happens.

While there is a lot of internal monologuing that was driving me crazy, I did like it. The people who said, “this story set women back 100 years”, clearly didn’t finish it. There is more than what is on the outside, perceived, and assumed.

It was a little cringe at a few points, with how body parts were described. Also had a Gossip Girl vibe, if you have seen it you will know what I mean.

The main character is a jerk. Like we’re supposed to be routing for this girl to like him when he’s acting like a major a-hole. She knows he is but her body still wants him cause he’s hot? Nope. I had to stop listening because it was pissing me off so bad

It took me so long to finish this book, her inner dialog was pretty boring honestly It took me 4 days to finish the audiobook because I wasn't into the story. It was ok but not my thing.

This book is amazing. The style of the writing has you feeling as if your actually in the book with the characters. Feeling and seeing everything as it happens.

I actually liked this book. The only problem was the character inner dialogue. A conversation between two characters that was only a few sentences would take 10 minutes. The inner dialogue was too excessive and annoying. Otherwise good book.
