DNF it. At first it sounded like this story had a potential, but coudn't listen anymore after meltdown over paparaci. FMC is 28 but acting like insecure tenager, MMC can't get over his trauma and keeps refering to FMC like small, tiny, litle hand, small face. I really thought I could get through, but it just got irritating. And narrator sounds like an AI voice, monotone, hard to understand where FMC POV ends and MMC POV starts.

Hot sexy fun, emotionally complex, relatable protagonists. I just wanted it to keep going. The narrator, Tamara, did an outstanding job. She made the story come to life.I have to listen to more of her stuff.

DNF. Could not finish. the h acts like she is a child. She exaggerates at the paparazzi issue. She is just to much!! And he is traumatized by teachers, and can't date one? WTF? I tried, I did but it's too much. The sex was nice though...

I normally love Kelly Jamieson’s writing but this one was rough. Remi despite being a middle school teacher and raising her siblings after their parents died, was like a clueless 12 year old, her reaction to Jace’s fame, paparazzi, and shock over hockey salaries was juvenile, For the 1st 25% I didn’t like her very much. Jace was great at 1st then he goes and thinks he can’t be involved with a teacher because he had a mean teacher and when something really goes wrong he nosedives. Remi’s siblings are ungrateful selfish brats. The ex is left unresolved with some pretty pie in the ski hopes, what happens with the play off and those damn siblings have crash and burns in their futures

I really wanted to finish, truly I did… but I just couldn’t continue to listen any longer. So many great Hockey Romances, this one wasn’t it. Jase was just ehh and Remi was made out to be this sweet girl next door that when the first sex scene came up, it felt way to weird and awkward. If a man did what Remi did, we would all be calling it something much more serious.
