About this audiobook
Nashville nursing student Paige McMillan only wanted to get over a cheating ex. But a few sinful hours with a tall, muscular bad boy left the good girl with a lifetime of responsibility-and no idea who her adorable daughter's father really is.
Love him or hate him, hockey superstar Lance Couture makes no apologies for being the best-or for living life to its fullest. He's hot, rich, and girls can't get enough of him. Why would a player like him ever settle down?
When a pro hockey team comes to town, Paige spots a familiar face in the most unlikely place: on the ice. The father of her daughter is Lance Couture, star of the Boston Brawlers. But the pro athlete isn't interested in talking about lost time. He'd rather replay their steamy one-night affair-and his lips and tongue are oh so seductive . . .
Can Paige resist the hockey hunk's advances and tell him the truth? Can Lance's career survive another off-ice controversy? Is there hope for a happy little hockey family?
Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great story but did find myself getting annoyed at how long the beginning took. Male narators female voice awful ?
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Full disclosure I didn’t like Lance at the end book 1, or the beginning of this story. He just seemed like a clueless spoiled brat, but he starts to redeem himself and although there’s a few times I was wishing I could shake him or slap ?? him silly, his love for his girls was even sweeter knowing how oblivious he could be. Paige takes on being a single mom without complaint or resentment or envy by the time she finds Lance you just want it all for both of them. Lances attitude towards Paige having a daughter was refreshing but his realization she was his without anger or blame or doubt just acceptance was something special. This is a light hearted, a little swoony and good ole boy becomes a man HEA
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Ahh, its just OK, it's still an improvement on Lance from previous book where is was a total a#%hole to his sister and best friend. He was a lot more likable here and Paige is great. The book could easily have been written in first person which would have made it a lot better. Love Alexander Cendese (the male narrator) but was not a fan of Lidia Dornet, just didn't find her voice appealing. Going to finish the series but sadly so far not finding this author so great.
