Great! This single mom, sport, contemporary romance was steamy and sweet. Great narration!

Tux & Cammy are besties, but can it be more. Take this ride and find out. Unfortunately, we don’t much from George, Nat, or any of the guys would have been great to get some interaction from the peanut gallery. Narrators did a great job, story flows, no cheating, no cliffhangers, and sweet HEA.

Sadly, I am disappointing with book 3 in the series. I am not always really into friends to lovers books because it’s hard for me to grasp going from a platonic relationship one minute to heated sexual tension the next. This book is still good, however I felt it was a little slow and drawn out while also being pretty predictable. Don’t get me wrong, basically all Romance books are predictable: boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love, happily ever after… but this story line didnt keep me engrossed like the first book in the series did, and you know how much I talked that one up!

Cammy has been on her own with her son his whole life. She has a great support system with family, and friends over the years. Rux has become her best friend, he is always over stealing snacks from her fridge and hanging out with her and her son Matty. Rux wants to help Cammy out after a bad date and prove to the guy how awesome she is that she’s dating a hockey star. What starts as fake dating, keeps developing until feelings and actions can’t be held accountable anymore.

This book was cute. It had its steamy scenes. It just didn’t wow me unfortunately. And it hurts saying that because I was completely falling in love with Mira’s writing. I haven’t lost hope though! There are two more books in the works in this series and I am going to keep going! I am still going to recommend this book because it has its cute moments and I know others out there will appreciate it way more than me.
