About this audiobook

Even in dating, the best defense is a killer offense. And with exes that are flat-out bad dudes, you can’t go wrong with the biggest, baddest Big O consultant at your side.

Name’s Aidan Knight. I’m the guy you don’t bring home to mama—the rough, gruff, tatted-up bruiser our clients hire to scare off dangerous exes. Though I’m always intense, when the terrorized client is a great girl I never should’ve let become the one who got away, my new default cranks up to savagely protective.

Letting her out of my sight is just not happening. And soon, the time we end up spending together starts including some really big, epic O’s. The kind that require cardio workouts and protein bars for stamina. As if I need more reasons to fall harder for this woman.

For the record, back in college, I thought I was doing the noble thing by leaving her untouched. Now, I see things a little differently. Will I be saving her from her psycho mob boss ex? Of course. Will I be the gentlemanly knight who sets her free and leaves the rest to fate again?

Hell no.

Note: Hot Knight For Hire is a super sexy romantic comedy entirely from the hero’s point of view. Lots of filthy sweet talking. Insanely acrobatic smexy times. Two wild and crazy characters. And a romping fun HEA. Enjoy!

The person chosen to read for the male character really threw me off-he didn't sound anything like a tattooed "gladiator"-he sounded more like an accountant who had an odd way of dragging out words. Honestly, this is the first Lili Valente audio book I just couldn't finish, and I've listened to a lot. However, these books are getting a little too preachy to me. I can clearly tell this author's political leanings, and while it is every bit her right to write about something she's passionate about, I just want to be entertained by a good book, full stop. I don't need social justice messaging to be in every single thing I see and read, nor do I care what she thought of a former president. Just...enough. Guess I'll find another author that can manage to entertain and not lecture.

First, I want to state that I think the author made a big mistake changing the book titles and the series title. It was confusing because the audio world didn’t make the changes and neither did Goodreads. HOWEVER, I can now say I love this author… Why, because she always adds something subtle but real to her stories. Like the lack of humanitarian efforts, the social injustice in our country, and this time twice she hit a political nightmare that tickled me completely (the Orange Horror). The author must have decided to change the remarks because it wasn’t in the book, but it sure was in the audio… YAY.!. Someone else might not think it’s a big deal, but it sure made me happy for a minute.

This storyline was great. But, for me it didn’t measure up to the LOVE or SEX in book 1. I guess I’m still swooning over Sebastian. And, for those who think like me that the cover means a whole bunch to a story. Yeah, the cover for book 1 was awful especially when we were given a mental image of Sebastian. But, this Cover Was Perfect for Aidan. Exactly what I imagined Aidan would look like, although the guy on the cover was grossly Under Tattooed. And, I know this is rude, but the narrator sounded like Seth Rogen. I love Seth’s acting but he certainly doesn’t look like a muscled inked lumberjack, so it kinda ruined my image of Aidan…Ugh!

I must say Chapter 33 had me scratching my head. Maybe she added it to the story because she was going to take part in the narration herself. But, it made absolutely no sense at all. If I was a beta reader on her writing team I would have begged her to rethink the chapter.

I’m really enjoying this author’s stories she has a crazy fixation on smell…LOL

Great Story - Excellent Writing - Great Read
