About this audiobook

From bestselling author Lisa Lang Blakeney comes a sweet and sexy stand-alone friends to lovers romance set in the world of professional football.

Olivia: I was the new kid, in a small town, who didn't fit in when I met Mason Bridgewater. He was big, bossy, and almost knocked me out cold when we first met.

Our friendship grew, and a love grew greater out of that, but now I've ruined it. Will he ever speak to me again?

Mason: I was the golden boy, from a small town, whose entire world was rocked when I met Olivia Robertson. She talked differently, she acted differently, and I knew pretty quickly that I'd never meet a girl like her again.

Our friendship was unbreakable, our attraction undeniable, and our love unforgettable . . . or so I thought. The girl who meant everything threw me away like I meant nothing. Will she ever love me again?

Contains mature themes.

I’m really enjoying this series! Fun, light reads centered around players in a New York football team. Each story is unique…Diesel follows the H and h from their first meeting as children through high school, college, and into adulthood where they find their HEA. Narration is good!

Full disclosure, I’m not a fan of flashbacks, this story opens present day then immediately rolls to childhood, wraps up HEA. That said characters stay true to their selves and story flows well. A little sad when people don’t use their full potential but overall strong and trustworthy tale. So love having a girl who truly loves and understands football, that earned an extra star

I am a big fan of friends to lovers stories and this one is great since the story is not too childish at the beginning and we see the characters evolve . I just though that the end came too soon, a little bit more story after the climax would have been great !
