Breathe deeply and find your sacred space,
The inner retreat on which you rely.
Invite your awareness to join you there,
As, together, you prepare for a journey.
 
It’s time to begin a brand-new quest, a search for your highest aims.
You and your spirit have work to do, dreams to foster and hopes to renew.
 
PAUSE…
How long has it been since you set your mind free,
Since you told it to do what it will?
How long have you been stuck on a path you don’t love,
Searching for an off-ramp or a detour to save you?
 
The path might not be a difficult one,
And it may not even be wrong,
But if you’re trudging forward instead of running,
It’s time to question the road you’re on.
 
PAUSE…
Inhale deeply and open your mind,
Look for breadcrumbs in unexplored directions.
Let your curiosity unfurl and spread out,
Sending its tendrils into unexpected places.
 
Who knows what waits in your unexplored places, in the lush forest of your consciousness?
Wander around and take in the view, glimpse the majesty that makes you YOU.
 
PAUSE…
Move toward whatever captures your attention,
Whatever shiny detail draws your inner eye.
Focus your vision and see what you see,
Let this new energy wash over you.
 
Perhaps you want to dig deeper,
To see more of this possibility.
Or maybe you’re yearning for a collection of options,
A collage of new opportunities.
 
PAUSE…
There is no wrong answer when you’re searching,
Only a panorama of wishes from which to choose.
The key is to let your attention fly toward them,
To see all your spirit aspires to be.
