Wendy Armstrong says:
I have been qualified as a nurse for 26 years. The last 16 of those years has been as a practice nurse in the same practice specialising in the management of Type 2 diabetes. I had always questioned why we treat a disease of insulin resistance with drugs that increase insulin secretion or with insulin itself.
In 2015 I read the 8 week blood sugar diet book and it all clicked.
I started eating low carb myself having gone gluten-free after seeing a naturopath in 2017 to help reverse post viral fatigue then gradually I have transitioned to keto then 16 months ago to a more carnivore way of eating.
Wendy's Top Tips
If you are carnivore, you have to eat the fats - particularly animal fats.
Electrolytes are your friend and your saviour.
Circadian rhythms and the sun are important - perhaps more important than diet - Get early morning, midday and late afternoon sun every day.
