Functional Fitness is not about being skinny. Having some level of fitness is so very important to everyone - it can help make all the years you have that much more enjoyable. As you age, it will help you be able to climb the stairs, get on the ground with your grandchildren, and travel to fun places after you retire.Mary reminds us: You can be creative and work on functional fitness IN your home. You do not have to go to the gym or have a lot of equipment.Functional fitness is about using the whole body, rather than focusing on one muscle at a time.Every functional fitness workout combines Cardio, Strength, and FlexibilityJust walking is amazing exercise - you do not have to run to get benefits.A coach or trainer helps reduce your learning curve on exercises needed and could keep you from getting injured.Exercise is medicine. Sometimes it is even better medicine than pharmaceuticalsHealth is the new wealth. It is an investment. And you can’t put a price tag on it.We have one body to live in - you have got to take care of it.  You have to commit and you have to be consistent to be successful.
