Description
Seeing your kids move into young love and all that comes with it is hard, especially because we remember what that meant. Hey now, these are my kids - I was referring to holding hands, snuggling, and smooching every now and then, right?! And in Cate and Chris's case, the annoying "BARNACLE!" movement.Parenting humans entering the adulting phase isn't easy, just like parenting infants, toddlers, kids, pre-teens, and teens is hard. Damn. When is it going to get easier? But these are the days when we as parents need to just keep our mouths shut if we ever want to see them again. I keep trying to remind myself how I felt at this age. And if I remember correctly, I didn't give a rat's ass about how my mom felt about pretty much anything. So mum is the word.
