Description

In this episode, I chat with professional runner Vanessa Fraser about her injury journey over the past 14 months, the difficulties she faced, and her ability to show up at the US Olympic Trials in May 2021. We chat about her relationship with nutrition which started around 9th grade when she had to gain weight for her health and the importance of this through her developmental years. This knowledge she gained helped shape her to the runner she is today knowing she always has to fuel to keep up with her metabolic needs! She is still figuring out what is best for her body under different training circumstances as she navigates the demands of professional running, recovery, and performance! This includes getting help from Inside Tracker, a company that Lindsey herself partners with! If you are interested in using Inside Tracker to get a deeper look at your internal health and nutrition, use code RISEUPNUTRITION for 25% off any order! www.InsideTracker.com Learn more about Lindsey's Services and the Team at Rise Up Nutrition: www.RiseUpNutritionRUN.com Full Bio: Vanessa Fraser is a Nike professional runner – She attended Scotts Valley High School in Northern California and graduated a two-time Division IV State Champion in cross country.
