Cali Schweikhart is a member of the Spartan Pro Team and a client of mine here at Rise Up Nutrition LLC. In today's episode we talk about her journey with athletics & nutrition and why she eventually became a client. She share's her journey & experiences working together to overcome years of disordered eating, weight cycling, and amenorrhea. I can't thank Cali enough for sharing her story to help inspire others to pursue health first, in order to pursue athletics. More about Cali: She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from Cold Spring, NY (but now lives in Nederland, CO). Cali developed an interest in health and fitness at a very young age, and was always passionate about being active. She played competitive basketball throughout high school and Division 1 soccer at Boston University before falling in love with Obstacle Course Racing. At just 21 years-old, she became one of the youngest females to win an Elite Spartan Race. She is now a member of the Spartan Pro Team and also competes in HYROX (the German race series bridging heavy strength and running), where she recently placed 4th at the National Championships.
