Things were about to get messy!

One warden was already difficult to defeat for humans and Piglins but what if there were more.

Kalo turned out to be a good Warden and so was his sister, Tera but the siblings also revealed that there were bad Wardens who seek to ruin humans. These Wardens were led by Fogu.

Tera detected that there was another Warden that has awakened and we ran away from the direction where the Warden was coming from. Confronting the creature wasn’t an option because we don’t know if we could deal with this threat.

Come on, follow me! I can detect a nearby Stronghold where you can go to hide from it. Tera told us.

We have no time to waste. Let’s follow Tera. Johansson suggested.

As we run towards the Stronghold, something could be heard from behind us. The sound of rocks being crushed into small pieces echoed through.

The Warden is getting closer. He’s about to catch up with us. Peter said.

Alright, I guess we couldn’t make it to the Stronghold. The Warden is faster than expected. I supposed he was saving his energy and he’s releasing it all in one go. Tera tried to find a reason behind the Warden’s speed.

What do we do? We cannot fight the Warden. I asked.

Quick, hide behind those rocks over there. Tera pointed on one of the sections of the cave.

Are you sure this is going to work? I wondered.

Wardens can detect the presence of other creature.  Hiding behind a rock is not going to do it. Johansson said.

This is not about hiding so that he can’t find you, but rather hiding while we face him off. My brother and I will handle the situation. Tera explained.

Thank you, Tera.  I wish we could do something to help you.

Beatriz, we will do everything to safeguard you.  We cannot let any harm befall you. Tera said.

No harm. Just protection, Kalo replied, clapping his hands.

I’m sorry if all we can do at the moment is to hide. Beatriz ran towards the area Tera pointed. Come with me, guys. We cannot stay here and waste their time.

We will be right there. If there is anything we can do to help let us know. Johansson said to Tera before running to hide too.

I feel bad about hiding, but I guess there is not much we can do. Wardens are far too strong, after all.

At this point, we need to make sure we are not a burden to Tera and Kalo, Calvin. If we can do that, I guess it should be enough to help them. Peter said.

Staying here would only drag them down and make things worse. I added.

We all hid behind a massive boulder placed against one of the Stronghold’s walls. As we waited, the ground began trembling.

Is that an earthquake? I wondered.

No, he is coming. Tera went to our hiding place for some last minute instructions. Whatever happens during this battle, I beg you all please do not interfere and don’t say anything.

Okay, we won’t make a sound. Do not worry. Johansson confirmed.

Thank you. The Warden knows there are other creatures beside Wardens here but is not aware if you are humans or not.

Why?

If he knows there are humans here, he might act aggressively. He may also try to lure you and befriend you before proceeding with his attack. So stay sharp and do not let the Warden know you are humans. Tera finished her sentence when the wall before her broke down into pieces where a tall Warden emerged.

Finally, we meet at long last. Tera said. Who are you and what do you want with us?

The Warden moved its head around, trying to detect the energy in the surroundings. The little sensors on its head started vibrating uncontrollably. The Warden took a deep breath, steam coming out of his nose.

I ask you the same question. He replied in a deep voice. Who are you and what do you want with our leader, Fogu?

Let’s just say that I had a matter to settle with Fogu. Tera replied.

The Warden took a step forward but Tera and Kalo moved away from the Warden.

Fogu’s enemy is also my enemy. What’s your business here? The creature asked.

I am Tera and this is Kalo. We want to take Fogu down for good.

Take Fogu down? Hah! Do not make me laugh, pitiful Wardens. No one can win against Fogu. If you two think you can beat him, you are dead wrong. Besides, I would never let you get any closer to where he’s resting. Fogu is not fully awake and he is still recovering from the Warden wars. I won’t let you two meddle with our affairs.

Who are you to protect a tyrant like Fogu? Tera asked.

I am Goro and I am Fogu’s loyal follower. I will take you two down if I have to if you proceed with your plant to hurt Fogu. Goro said.

What if we don’t take Fogu down?

You can join our cause and I will not hurt you. Goro said. Wait. I could feel the presence of other creatures around you. Who are they?

They are none of your business. You are not going to hurt them.

I am not going to hurt them just tell me what kind of creatures they are. Goro replied. Hello! Is there anyone else in here?

Goro called for us, but we did not fall for his trap. Tera had warned us in advance that he would try to deceive us.

They wouldn’t fall for that. Now, take this! Tera jumped on Goro and carried out with her first attack to his face. She punched him twice and retreated to safety. Goro seemed unharmed but unhappy.

That is nothing. Do you expect to defeat me with such weak punches? I take pity on you. Goro replied.

Ready for battle! Cannot lost battle! Kalo replied.

The fight between the Wardens was about to begin!

Day 2

Kalo and Tera moved forward with their first joint attack. Kalo went to the right and Tera moved to the left. Together, they punched Goro at the same time in the stomach, trying to immobilize him with a powerful blow to the torso.

Well done little brother, you’ve got this. Tera complimented Kalo.

Thank you!

This is child’s play. It is my turn now! Goro grabbed Tera’s hand and threw her against the wall. The wall of the cave shattered as Tera was thrown against it causing some of the rocks to fall over us.

Tera! Kalo screamed.

I am alright. Tera stood up and stretched her legs a bit. That was a bit unexpected, but it will take much more to take me down.

You will pay for hurting my sister! Kalo delivered another blow to Goro’s face, and Goro did not protect himself. The attack did not hurt him a bit.

I was hoping you two would be an actual challenge after so many years without battling any Wardens. But I was proven wrong. Goro punched Kalo with his right hand, and Kalo hit the ground.

Kalo! Tera yelled. Hold tight, brother!
